A two-car crash in Ozaukee County Wednesday night left one man dead and two others injured.

Glenn Lewis, 56, of Cedarburg, was pronounced dead at Froedtert Hospital hours after Flight for Life transported him from the crash scene.

According to the Ozaukee County Sheriff's Office, Lewis was westbound on County Highway NN in the Town of Cedarburg around 5:30 p.m. when he was struck by a northbound driver who failed to obey a stop sign on Granville Road.

That driver, 19-year-old Adam Gertz of Mequon, was cited for failing to stop at a stop sign, causing great bodily harm. But the investigation is ongoing, authorities said.

The collision sent Lewis' vehicle into a nearby home and Gertz's into a commercial building.

Gertz, and a 19-year-old female passenger were treated for injuries at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton.
