Seat space: Economy seats are laid out in a 2x4x2 configuration and come with a tight 30” seat pitch, or a standard industry measure of space between rows of seats. Premium Economy will feature a similar seat, but more room. Premium Economy is in a 2x3x2 configuration and features 37” of pitch. Economy fliers will access to 9" seatback screens while Premium Economy fliers will get 12" screens.

Current base: Barcelona, though Level says it will begin flying from more European cities soon.

Other destinations: Los Angeles; Oakland; Buenos Aires; Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. All routes are currently to/from Barcelona.

Schedule: Level’s U.S. flights will fly from Los Angeles twice a week and from Oakland three times a week.

Fares: Lowest fares from the U.S. begin at $149, though those are subject to availability. Level’s fully-flexible fares top $1,000 each way, though there are many fare lower fare types.

Fees: Fliers buying Level’s cheapest fares will pay extra for checked baggage ($44 one way), meals ($37 one way) and seat selection ($17 and one way).  Fliers buying Level’s extra-legroom “Premium Economy” seats will not pay extra for those items.

Frequent-flier program: Participates in the “Avios” program used by British Airways and Iberia. Customers can earn or redeem Avios on Level, but those earning Avios on Level flights will generally earn them at a discounted rate. Level is not currently partnered with any U.S. carrier; that includes American, which has a separate partnership with both British Airways and Iberia.
