The 2017 NHL trade deadline is set for 3 p.m. Wednesday, and the Detroit Red Wings could be players in some more deals.

Already, they have sent forward Tomas Jurco to the Chicago Blackhawksdefenseman Brendan Smith to the New York Rangers, forward Steve Ott to the Montreal Canadiens and forward Thomas Vanek to the Florida Panthers.
