Buffalo Bills running back Karlos Williams (29) speaks to the media at the team's NFL football minicamp in Orchard Park, N.Y., Tuesday, June 14, 2016.

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Karlos Williams was suspended 10 games for violating the league’s substance abuse policy, NFL Network reported Wednesday.

Williams, a second-year pro who was waived in the preseason by the Buffalo Bills, served a four-game ban earlier this season for violating the NFL’s drug policy. NFL Network reported that Williams ran afoul to the league’s substance abuse rules again.

The Steelers signed Williams to their practice squad in October. He hasn't appeared in a game this season.

Williams showed up to Bills training camp about 20 pounds overweight and was put on the team’s active/non-football illness list. He blamed his heft on snacking with his fiancé, who was pregnant.
