Pacers, Raptors agree to deal involving C.J. Miles, Cory Joseph

The Toronto Raptors and Indiana Pacers have reached an agreement on a sign-and-trade deal involving C.J. Miles and Cory Joseph, a person with knowledge of the agreement told USA TODAY Sports. The person spoke under the condition of anonymity because the trade had not yet been made official.

Miles, an unrestricted free agent who spent his past three seasons in Indiana, will join Toronto on a three-year, $25 million contract, according to the Indianapolis Star, part of the USA TODAY Network.

The deal is contingent on Toronto and Brooklyn finalizing the recent DeMarre Carroll trade. 

Miles, a 30-year-old swingman averaged 12 points, 2.9 rebounds and shot 41.2% from the field and 37.4% from beyond the arc during his time with the Pacers. He made a career-high 41.3% of his three-pointers in the 2016-17 season. 

Joseph, a 25-year-old point guard, spent his past two seasons in Toronto, averaging 8.9 points, 3.2 assists and shooting 44.6% from the field and 31.8% from three while primarily coming off the bench behind Kyle Lowry.
