George Hill and Zach Randolph have both agreed to deals to join the Sacramento Kings, a person with knowledge of the agreements told USA TODAY Sports. The person spoke under the condition of anonymity because the agreements had not yet been announced publicly.

Hill, who's coming off the best season of his nine-year career, reached an agreement on a three-year, $57 million contract. Last season, his first in Utah, the 31-year-old point guard averaged 16.9 points, 4.2 assists and 3.4 rebounds, though he only played 49 games due to various injuries.

Randolph's agreement is for two years, $24 million. The 35-year-old spent the past eight seasons of his career in Memphis, where he anchored the Grit-n-Grind Grizzlies alongside center Marc Gasol.

Hill and Randolph join a young Sacramento squad that features this year's No. 5 pick De'Aaron Fox and last year's No. 6 pick Buddy Hield, as well as Harry Giles (19 years old), Skal Labissiere (21) and Willie Cauley-Stein (23).

The Kings, who last went to the playoffs in 2006, are in the midst of the longest postseason drought in franchise history.

The Vertical first reported Hill's signing. ESPN first reported Randolph's.
