The fit in Denver is intriguing because of the rising frontcourt star the Nuggets already have in Nikola Jokic. Both are excellent passers and rebounders, which should complement their stable of perimeter shooters.

Millsap is also the latest Eastern Conference star to head West despite the obvious strength of the conference. Millsap's veteran presence should accelerate the Nuggets' development, and though he's already 32, he's shown remarkable consistency over the last few years.
