After helping Shorewood to a nine-win improvement on the diamond, Greyhounds senior pitcher Chris Zak was named honorable mention All-State by the Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association.
The right-hander went 3-4 with a 1.27 ERA over 44 innings pitched, allowing just eight earned runs on 22 hits with 19 walks and 60 strikeouts.
Zak also represented Shorewood as a First-Team All-Woodland East pick.
Senior catcher Ben Grabowski, junior infielder Garrison Ferone, senior infielder Dayton Simenz and sophomore utility player Aaron Eimers received second-team All-Woodland East honors.
Cudahy's Alex Rodriguez was named Woodland East Player of the Year and Cudahy coach Josh Jagler was the Woodland East Coach of the Year.
Brown Deer junior utility player John Labonte was an honorable mention All-Woodland East selection.
