Four errors led to four unearned runs and Brown Deer's baseball team was held to just two hits in a 6-0 loss to Homestead in a WIAA regional semifinal July 11.

The loss left the Falcons to finish winless on the season at 0-24.

Fourth-seeded Homestead struck for three runs to take a 3-0 lead in the second inning. An error allowed Bradley Woldt to reach to start the inning. After a single put runners on first and second with nobody out, Falcons starter Andrew Javoroski recorded a ground out and an infield fly out.

But Sanoro Kulubonis followed with a double to center to score a pair. An error on a ball hit by Emory Weeden allowed Kulubonis to score to make it 3-0.

A pair of Brown Deer errors led to an additional run for the Highlanders in the third. The first earned runs allowed by Javoroski came in the fifth on two-out, run-scoring singles by Dylan Moser and Joe Panella.

Homestead's Mason Skaja held the Falcons to just two hits — singles by Evan Awe and Benjamin Watkins.

Javoroski allowed just two earned runs on seven hits with a walk and a strikeout over 4 2/3 innings. Nathan Gonzalez pitched 1 1/3 scoreless innings in relief.
