Whitefish Bay's baseball team lost three of four over the final week of the regular season, earning its lone win over nonconference foe Cedar Grove-Belgium. 

The Blue Dukes closed out North Shore Conference play at 5-13 with an 11-2 loss to West Bend West on July 3 and a 14-7 defeat at the hands of Kewaskum on July 6.

An 11-1 win over Cedar Grove-Belgium on July 5 and a 13-12 loss to Oak Creek on July 8 left Whitefish Bay to enter the playoffs with a 12-17 record. 

The Blue Dukes were seeded eighth in their sectional and were to host ninth-seeded Shorewood in a regional semifinal July 11. The winner was to play at top-seeded West Bend West in a regional final July 12. 

Ryan Miller threw a five-inning complete game to lead the Blue Dukes past Cedar Grove-Belgium.

Owen Jonas went 2-for-3 with three RBIs, while Nathan Ebersole was 2-for-3 with two RBIs, Luke Lamont finished 2-for-2 with two RBIs and Cade Garcia drove in two runs.

A six-run third inning allowed Kewaskum to take a 10-2 lead over the Blue Dukes on July 6. Whitefish Bay scored five unanswered runs to pull to within 10-7 before the Indians tacked on four in the seventh.

Carson Kimple homered and drove in three runs in the loss. Ebersole and Jonas each had two hits. 

A late comeback attempt fell just short against Oak Creek on July 8.

Whitefish Bay scored three times in the fourth inning to pull even at 6-6, but Oak Creek plated two runs in the fifth and five in the sixth to go up 13-6.

The Blue Dukes chipped away with two in the sixth and scored four in the seventh before the game ended at 13-12. 

Garcia had a four-hit game with a double and three RBIs. Gunnar Stock went 2-for-3 with three RBIs and Jonas was 2-for-3 with two RBIs.

Charlie Vincent worked 4 1/3 innings on the mound before giving way to Ebersole and Miller to finish the game.
