Whitefish Bay junior quarterback Cade Garcia was acknowledged as the North Shore Conference Offensive Back of the Year, and top receiver, junior Alex Anthony, shared Offensive End of the Year when the NSC announced its All-Conference football teams.

The duo was among several Bay players named to the lists. Junior defensive lineman Jordan Riley and senior defensive back Michael Kirkendoll also earned spots on the first team, with Kirkendoll also getting the nod at split end.

Second-team choices included junior punter and kicker Zach Lichosik; sophomore outside linebacker Tommy Brunner; junior inside linebacker and offensive lineman Carson Kimple; junior defensive end Brady Weas; junior running back Bo Bassindale; and senior tight end Chris Caspari.

Blue Dukes on the honorable-mention list included junior Case Fleck (defensive back) and junior George Beatty (offensive line). The number of returnees will make Bay one of the top teams in the Milwaukee area in 2017.

Nicolet running back Dakari Williams landed a spot on the second team, and Knight offensive lineman John Quam was named honorable mention.

Germantown linebacker Austin Mozdzen was named the league's Defensive Player of the Year, and Port Washington offensive lineman Tyler Beach was named Offensive Player of the Year. Both were also cited as the best at their position in the North Shore.

Other award winners were Alex Kluck of Cedarburg (Co-End of the Year with Anthony), Homestead's Jordan Schroeder (DL of the Year) and Germantown's Waymon McNeal (DB of the Year).

Including those award winners, the remainder of the first team included offensive linemen Jack Rapala (Homestead), Jack Henrichs (Homestead), Ahmed Kharoub (Germantown) and Joe Block (Germantown); running backs Anthony Jackson (Milwaukee Lutheran), Matt Ruppel (Port Washington) and Bradley Woldt (Homestead); kicker Jack Brzakala (Germantown); defenisve ends Joel Durham (Cedarburg) and Jalen Turan (Grafton); defensive lineman Dan Colbin (Germantown); linebackers Ruppel, Michael Bruner (Homestead) and Colton Thomas (Germantown); defensive back Ben Price (Homestead); and punter Woldt.
