Letter to the editor:
President Trump has no business being the leader of our democracy. He is an embarrassment to America and to humanity itself. Trump is only concerned with what people think about him personally and cannot accept any opposing opinions without attacking the person in a rather childish manner. I’m tired of his limited vocabulary, e.g. bigly, yuge, horrible, sad.
Trump would rather line his pockets, pay off his taxes and build more Trump Towers globally than help out those who voted him into the Oval Office with the hope that he would somehow bring them jobs. How can a man who is so privileged and has had so many bankruptcies and lawsuits be able to help us out? He is only concerned with his own welfare and furthering his own enterprises, e.g. his new tax plan.
The real threats in the world are poverty, hunger and our huge populations. And yet this man wants to decrease aid to those in need. Bombs and walls will never be the answer, not will his weak iron fist of fear.
I miss President Obama, his compassion and his ability to see the big picture and to articulate, and I repeat, articulate his vision. Trump is mentally unstable and should resign his position, perhaps a medical leave to save himself and America from further embarrassment?
I ask Trump to make America great again and resign.
