President Trump covered a wide spectrum in a Friday tweetstorm: Iran, Australia, protesters and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Most prominently, as the administration considers new sanctions on Iran over missile activity, Trump tweeted out a threat to the Islamic regime.

"Iran is playing with fire — they don't appreciate how 'kind' President Obama was to them," Trump said. "Not me!"

(Also: While Trump jousts with Iran, his administration has also put Israel on notice that it may oppose new settlement activity in Palestinian areas. "While we don’t believe the existence of settlements is an impediment to peace, the construction of new settlements or the expansion of existing settlements beyond their current borders may not be helpful in achieving that goal," said a White House statement.)

As for Schwarzenegger, the president followed up on his joke at Thursday's National Prayer Breakfast about Schwarzenegger's poor ratings as host of Trump's old show The Apprentice; Schwarzenegger fired back with a tweet offering to switch jobs with Trump so that people could sleep at night.

Trump tweeted back Friday: "Yes, Arnold Schwarzenegger did a really bad job as Governor of California and even worse on the Apprentice...but at least he tried hard!"

Protesters, some violent, also drew a presidential tweet.

"Professional anarchists, thugs and paid protesters are proving the point of the millions of people who voted to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!" the president said.

The president also issued a tweet to Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull, as both sought to downplay reports of a contentious phone call last week: "Thank you to Prime Minister of Australia for telling the truth about our very civil conversation that FAKE NEWS media lied about. Very nice!"

Administration officials did not challenge specifics of a Washington Post report on the Trump-Turnbull phone call, and Trump himself told the prayer breakfast he has had "tough" phone calls with foreign leaders.

Yet another tweet dealt with Trump's schedule on Friday: "Meeting with biggest business leaders this morning. Good jobs are coming back to U.S., health care and tax bills are being crafted NOW!"
