Shorewood — The 13th annual Shorewood Criterium Cycling Classic hits the streets of Shorewood on Thursday, June 23 with a new route adjusted for construction projects.
The day kicks off with a women's category 3/4 race at 2:50 p.m., followed by a junior boys' race (15-18 years) at 3:35 p.m., a men's category 2/3 race (highest level amateur) at 4:25 p.m., a women's pro race at 5:15 p.m., a kid's roll at 6:30 p.m. (10 and under) and the men's pro race at 7 p.m.
The 1.2-mile race begins on Oakland Avenue at Lake Bluff Boulevard, then goes west on Marion Street, north on Newhall Street, west on Lake Bluff Boulevard, north on Morris Street, east on Glendale Avenue and south on Oakland Avenue
The Shorewood Criterium Cycling Classic is part of the Tour of America's Dairyland, a 10-race series featuring professional and amateur cyclists competing in cities throughout Wisconsin from June 17-26.
