The park and ride lot at Highway 32 and Highway LL near Interstate 43 will be under construction through early August.

It will be reopened temporarily for Port Washington Fish Day.

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation will begin work on the park and ride lot as part of a 10-lot rehabilitation project in southeastern Wisconsin. Pavement and signage will be replaced and new pavement marking will be added.

The lot will be available Saturday, July 15 for Port Washington Fish Day. No work will be done that day, according to a news release from the DOT.

The lot will be fully closed all other days. The DOT suggests drivers use the Saukville Walmart lot near I-43 and Highway 33 where transit services have an existing stop.

Another park and ride lot near I-43 and Highway C will be worked on starting Aug. 9 and running through late August. The lot will receive electrical upgrades, pavement and signage replacement, as well as new pavement markings.

The lot will be fully closed. No other Ozaukee County park and ride will be closed during that time.
