A man was cited for OWI in the 8900 block of North Port Washington Road at 11:07 p.m. May 20. Police were alerted to the driver, who ran two red lights. The man, who failed field sobriety tests, admitted 'smoking weed' earlier.

BROWN DEER

A 2000 gold Chrysler 300 was taken from the 9400 block of North 49th Street between 7 and 9:45 p.m. May 13.

Two people were seen grabbing numerous items and fleeing TJ Maxx, 9020 N. Green Bay Road, at 12:17 p.m. May 14. They drove off in a car.

A $400 Mongoose mountain bike was taken from an underground garage in the 8300 block of North Teutonia Avenue sometime May 5 to 12 and reported May 14.

A 31-year-old woman and a 37-year-old man of Milwaukee were cited for shoplifting after taking items from Goodwill, 9305 N. Green Bay Road, about 3:30 p.m. May 14.

A 60-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for prescription fraud at Walgreens, 6020 W. Brown Deer Road, at 5:25 p.m. May 14. The man attempted to pick up a fraudulent prescription for Oxycodone that had been dropped off earlier by a female.

A 25-year-old Brown Deer man was cited for disorderly conduct while armed after he was in a confrontation and pulled out a knife in the 7600 block of North Teutonia Avenue at 1:40 a.m. May 15. The man fled the scene but was known and cited.

An unlocked bike was taken from the 6300 block of West Brown Deer Road about 7:40 a.m. May 15. The man said he left the bike 'briefly' while he shopped.

A Lenovo computer and case valued at $989 was taken from an unlocked car at Courtyard by Marriott, 5200 W. Brown Deer Road, on May 15 or 16.

An 18-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for shoplifting birthday party decorations at Party City, 9160 N. Green Bay Road, at 6:36 p.m. May 17. She said she wanted the items for a boy's birthday.

A 44-year-old Brown Deer man was cited for OWI and refusal to take a breath test in the 9200 block of North Green Bay Road at 11:48 p.m. May 17.

The following people were cited for shoplifting, the value of the items taken not yet available, at Walmart, 6300 W. Brown Deer Road, May 16 and 17: A Milwaukee man and a Franklin woman, both 19, took condoms; A 25-year-old Milwaukee woman who took baby toys was also cited for switching tags; Two Milwaukee girls, 14 and 15, took clothing, jewelry and makeup.

Four patio lights and a flower pot value not available were taken from a patio at Appe Thai, 3900 W. Brown Deer Road, on May 16 or 17 and reported May 18.

Two Brown Deer boys, 15 and 16, were cited for disorderly conduct after fighting at Brown Deer Middle High School, 8060 N. 60th Street, at 3:10 p.m. May 18. They were released to guardians.

FOX POINT

A 17-year-old Fox Point boy was sent to juvenile court and referred to adult court for vandalism after driving a golf cart, damaging it along with a parked car in an underground garage in the 500 block of West Bradley Road about 11 p.m. April 23 and reported April 24. The incident, caught on the surveillance video, showed the boy and at least one other person driving carts causing damage of $5,000 to those carts and $800 to the car.

Residents reported fraudulent filing of their federal taxes May 1.

A 10-foot copper downspout valued at $120 was taken from the 1500 block of East Goodrich Lane during the day May 9. A neighbor reported seeing a company truck in the driveway and the driver of that truck taking the downspout. The case is under investigation.

A 25-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for theft from his employer, Best Buy, 8755 N. Port Washington Road, at 1:15 p.m. May 13. The man admitted taking gift cards totaling $750 over a number of weeks. He also admitted taking a phone case in February but said that was an accident.

GLENDALE

Catalytic converters valued at $150 and $300 were taken from cars, one in the 7000 block of North Port Washington Road and one in the 6800 block of North Yates Road on May 10 or 11.

The theft of clothing valued at more than $1,400 was caught on surveillance at Victoria's Secret, 5695 N. Centerpark Way, about noon May 11. Video showed a male and female both wearing hoodies grab the items and run from the store.

An 18-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for theft of more than $1,000 from her employer Pick 'n Save, 1735 W. Silver Spring Drive, at 7:40 p.m. May 11. Over a period of time, the woman failed to scan items as she checked out certain people.

A 32-year-old West Allis man was cited for shoplifting and six warrants after taking a pair of sunglasses valued at $395 at Sunglass Hut, 490 W. Northshore Drive, at 2:50 p.m. May 12.

The following people were cited for shoplifting at Kohl's, 5650 N. Bayshore Drive, on May 12, 13, 16: a 50-year-old Milwaukee woman took $85 of intimate apparel, telling police she's been stealing since she was 14; A 23-year-old Milwaukee woman took $26 of baby items saying she just had a baby and was out of work; A 38-year-old woman and her 15-year-old daughter of Glendale took clothing, jewelry and make-up valued at $200.

A 45-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for shoplifting and a warrant at Pick 'n Save, 1735 W. Silver Spring Drive, at 6:30 p.m. May 12. The man, who took $76 of meat, said it was for a family cookout.

Two females and one male are suspects in shoplifting 45 shirts, 40 shorts and two jackets valued at $1,979 at The Gap, 401 W. Northshore Drive, about 9 p.m. May 14. The trio entered the store and while one 'distracted associates,' the others loaded up the items and then all fled.

A $60 wallet and contents, including debit cards and $50 cash, was taken from a purse hanging on the back of a chair at Bar Louie, 5800 N. Bayshore Drive, at 4:30 p.m. May 15.

Two females and one male are suspects in shoplifting 20 Pink Brand yoga pants valued at $800 at Victoria's Secret, 5695 N. Centerpark Way, about 4:30 p.m. May 15.

A 19-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for disorderly conduct after making a sexual comment to a woman and threatening her with a BB gun in the 6200 block of North Green Bay Avenue at 1:35 a.m. May 16. The man said he was just joking.

A 23-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for shoplifting and trespassing after taking women's clothing valued at $216 at Boston Store, 5701 N. Lydell Ave., at 4:45 p.m. May 16. The woman picked up the items, put them in a store bag and attempted to flee. She was recognized as a previous shoplifter.

A 24-year-old Saukville woman was cited for theft from her employer, Sports Authority, 5850 N. Bayshore Drive, at 3:40 p.m. May 17. The woman used sales receipts to make 'returns,' taking cash from her register. She admitted the theft because she needed money to pay her cocaine dealer.

SHOREWOOD

A 40-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for disorderly conduct after yelling profane language in front of another customer and then urinating in public at BP Station, 1602 E. Capitol Drive, in the early morning May 12.

A 53-year-old Shorewood man was cited for disorderly conduct after fighting and punching another man in the 1600 block of East Lake Bluff Drive at 3:07 p.m. May 12.

The following Milwaukee people were cited for shoplifting at Metro Market, 4075 N. Oakland Ave.: A 56-year-old woman took three 12-packs of Red Bull valued at $63 at 5:30 p.m. May 12; A 26-year-old man took diapers, baby formula and Red Bull valued at $276 at 9:20 p.m. May 12; A 27-year-old man took $296 of items at 11:53 a.m. May 13.

A 24-year-old Shorewood man was cited for possession of 2 grams of marijuana, 4 grams of synthetic marijuana and resisting arrest in the 3700 block of North Murray Avenue at 11:25 p.m. May 12. The man attempted to flee from police but was stopped.

A 23-year-old Mequon man was cited for OWI after he was stopped for speeding in the 1900 block of East Edgewood Avenue at 2:55 a.m. May 15. His BAC was 0.13.

A TV valued at $150 was taken from the 3500 block of North Murray Avenue between 2 and 6:30 a.m. May 15. There was no sign of forced entry.

A 54-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for disorderly conduct, becoming unruly and using profane language when asked to exit a disabled bus at North Oakland Avenue and East Capitol Drive at 3:44 p.m. May 17.

WHITEFISH BAY

A Whitefish Bay couple, both 48, were mailed citations for permitting underage drinking in the 700 block of East Beaumont Avenue at 3:26 a.m. May 15. A 'third party' alerted police, who went to the home, were 'invited in' and saw underage people with alcohol.

A 19-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman of Whitefish Bay were cited for disorderly conduct and the man also for resisting/obstructing after a report of them arguing in the 4900 block of North Lydell Avenue at 4:43 a.m. May 16. The man fled but was located a block away and the woman was found hiding behind the DPW building.

A 27-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for OWI-drugs and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the 5100 block of North Lydell Avenue at 12:07 a.m. May 17. The man had 3.1 grams of marijuana and a glass pipe with residue. He was taken for a blood draw.

A 15-year-old Milwaukee boy was cited for driving a stolen car after he and another boy were found sleeping in that car in the 5000 block of North Kent Avenue at 4:41 a.m. May 17. The car had been stolen out of Brown Deer May 14.

A car window was broken in the 500 block of East Henry Clay Street on May 16 or 17. Nothing was taken.

A resident reported a call from the 'IRS' saying a warrant had been issued for her arrest May 19. The woman knew it was a scam and no money was lost.

A 20-year-old Wauwatosa man and an 18-year-old Milwaukee woman were cited for underage drinking and, along with a 21-year-old Wauwatosa woman, for violation of park hours after their car was found parked the wrong way at Big Bay Park, 5100 N. Palisades Road, at 1:27 a.m. May 20.

A 24-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman of Appleton and a 28-year-old Brookfield woman were warned for alcohol in the park and cited for violation of parks hours at Big Bay Park, 5000 N. Palisades Road, at 2:55 a.m. May 21.

A 51-year-old Whitefish Bay woman was cited for OWI, with a prior conviction, after she hit a parked car at North Woodburn and East Henry Clay streets at 5:40 p.m. May 21. Her BAC was 0.19.
