A successful scam was reported April 15 after an employee received a call from a man in the 'corporate office' at Open Pantry, 501 W. Brown Deer Road, at 10 p.m. April 14. The caller said a customer had left his wallet at the store, and since it could not be found, he must be reimbursed. She was to take money from the cash register and two packages of Newport cigarettes with a total value of more than $300 and deliver it to the man in the 2800 block of Wells Street or she would be fired. The employee believed the caller and delivered the items. A similar scam was reported at that store Oct. 18, 2011. In that case, a man was arrested.
A man reported selling his Playstation Game Console and receiving four counterfeit $100 bills from the buyer in the 9200 block of North Green Bay Road at 10:25 p.m. April 29. The case is under investigation.
A 30-year-old Brown Deer man was cited for disorderly conduct/domestic violence related after a Brown Deer woman reported they had been in a 'physical altercation' April 30 and reported May 1.
A 40-year-old Brown Deer man was cited for battery/domestic violence related after he hit a woman and took her phone at 5:13 a.m. May 1.
A 52-year-old Mequon man was cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct and a 51-year-old Brown Deer man was mailed a citation for disorderly conduct after the two were reported fighting in the 9000 block of North Park Plaza Court at 7 p.m. May 1.
A 56-year-old Brown Deer man was cited for OWI, with two prior convictions, and driving with a revoked license in the 5700 block of West Wahner Avenue at 5:53 p.m. May 2. He was taken for a blood draw.
Two women reported attempted scams after receiving calls from a person who said he was with the IRS on May 2. One hung up and the other gave her name and date of birth but no other information.
Two males grabbed food items valued at more than $60 and fled World Mart Gas Station, 4685 W. Bradley Road, at 5:39 p.m. May 3.

A resident reported that someone was able to use her checking account to purchase items valued at $438 at a Florida Walmart on May 5.
A 25-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for disorderly conduct after a Brown Deer woman reported he had jumped on her and then choked her May 5. The man fled but was located and cited.
A resident notified police April 28 that when filing his tax return he was notified it had already been filed April 18.
Three Milwaukee women, 18, 19, and 24, were cited for escort without a license and a 27-year-old Milwaukee man for felony pandering in the 7000 block of North Port Washington Road, about 9 p.m. April 26. Police set up 'dates' with the women after they posted their services on a website used by prostitutes.
A 17-year-old Glendale girl and two Milwaukee girls, 15 and 16, were cited for disorderly conduct for fighting/punching each other at Nicolet High School, 6701 N. Nicolet Road, at 1:35 p.m. April 27. The fight began after one girl reportedly called another girl 'ugly.'
The following Milwaukee people were cited for shoplifting at Kohl's, 5650 N. Bayshore Drive, April 27 to May 1: A 14-year-old boy took $165 of T-shirts and pants and fled but was stopped a few blocks away, telling police his friends made him do it; In separate incidents, three women, 23, 45 and 50, all took various underwear items, including hosiery and socks valued at $56, $77 and $141; A 45-year-old woman put on a pair of $65 Skechers and left her shoes in the shoe box.
A $200 Craftsman 15 HP air-compressor was taken from a parking space and a jacket and garage door opener valued at $70 from a locked car in an underground garage in the 1700 block of West Green Tree Road on April 27 or 28.
A $550 HP laptop was taken from a car at Bayshore, 5631 N. Bayshore Drive, on Jan. 26 and reported April 28.
A 2008 Honda Pilot valued at $8,000 was taken when the owner went into Kaul Mart, 209 W. Silver Spring Drive, about 7:05 a.m. April 29. That car was then used in a purse snatching while a woman was pumping gas at Citgo, 6204 N. Port Washington Road, at 7:44 a.m. The man drove up in the stolen car, reached into her car, grabbed her purse and contents valued at $40 and drove away. There is a suspect.
A 25-year-old woman and a 27-year-old man, of Glendale, were cited for possession of drug paraphernalia after a 911 call reporting a heroin overdose in the 500 block of West Calumet Road at 12:48 p.m. April 29. North Shore fire gave the victim Narcan and she recovered. Numerous bongs were located in the residence and both were cited.
A 42-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for shoplifting after taking numerous Brewers items valued at $315 at Name of the Game, 5600 N. Bayshore Drive, at 1:21 p.m. April 29. The man had a child with him while he shoplifted.
A 23-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for shoplifting and trespassing after filling bags with 10 Polo items valued at $837 and running out of Boston Store, 5701 N. Lydell Ave., at 4:10 p.m. April 29. He was found hiding in a garage about a block away.
Two females were seen grabbing 48 Pink brand items valued at more than $1,900 and fleeing Victoria's Secret, 5695 N. Centerpark Way, at 5:40 p.m. April 29. The females fled in a car.
A 23-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for OWI after he was seen speeding and almost rear-ending a car in the 4900 block of North Port Washington Road at 2:12 a.m. April 30. The man, who admitted having a 'couple' of drinks, had a BAC of 0.09.
A $35,000 2014 Cadilac, a $5,000 2008 Nissan and a $22,000 2011 Dodge Affinity were taken from Amato Nissan, 5200 N. Port Washington Road, May 2 or 3.A car rammed a garage door to gain entry. The Cadillac was found abandoned in the 3700 block of North 29th Street.
Tires and wheels valued at $8,000 were taken, causing $2,100 damage at Umansky Motor Cars, 5990 N. Green Bay Ave., May 2 or 3.
A 28-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for OWI, with two prior convictions, obstruction/resisting and battery to a police officer after he was found in his car that had damaged wheels and rims and was facing west in the eastbound lane of the 800 block of West Brown Deer Road at 5:40 a.m. May 8. The man smelled of alcohol, failed field sobriety tests and, after a warrant was issued, taken for a blood draw. He struggled with officers, became violent and attempted to bite them. No injuries were reported.
A 24-year-old Glendale woman was cited for OWI and refusal to take a breath test after she was seen weaving in traffic with a flat tire in the 3500 block of North Murray Avenue at 3:50 a.m. April 30.
Two backpacks were taken from a car in the 2300 block of East Menlo Boulevard about 7:50 p.m. May 3. They were recovered with nothing missing in the 2300 block of East Edgewood Boulevard.
A 36-year-old Shorewood man was cited for disorderly conduct and battery after pushing a relative at 9 p.m. May 3. No injuries were reported.
A 21-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for possession of marijuana in the 4000 block of North Lake Drive at 11:53 p.m. May 3. The man had 0.4 grams of marijuana hidden in his sweatshirt.

A 16-year-old Milwaukee girl was cited for disorderly conduct at Whitefish Bay High School, 1200 E. Fairmount Ave., at 11:45 a.m. May 6. The girl yelled at other girls and then hit one of them.
A 44-year-old Whitefish Bay woman was cited for disorderly conduct in the office of the apartment manager in the 200 block of East Chateau Place, at 1:35 p.m. May 6. The woman made threats and used profane language. She also slammed the door so hard a clock was knocked off the wall and damaged.
A 77-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for shoplifting at Sendik's, 500 East Silver Spring Drive, at 3:19 p.m. May 6.
A resident reported that the front of her house was 'egged' as part of 'an on-going issue,' in the 5400 block of North Berkeley Boulevard about midnight May 7. In a possibly related incident, two males bought eggs at Speedway, 6170 N. Green Bay Ave., about 11 p.m.
A man took two bottles of tequila, fled the store and drove off in a car from Sendik's, 500 E. Silver Spring Drive, at 11:42 a.m. May 7.
