BROWN DEER - The area’s first trampoline park is opening this month.
Located at 9009 N. Deerbrook Trail, Rockin’ Jump offers 33,000 square feet of family fun, including trampolines, a vertical rock climbing wall, dodgeball area, basketball dunk lanes and air track mats.
There will also be an elevated platform for jousting, similar to the “American Gladiators” show, where competitors who fall off the suspended beam fall into a giant foam pit.
The national franchise has one other Wisconsin location in Madison, which was opened in 2015 by Jim Thorpe. A partnership between Thorpe and Four Seasons Skate Shop owner Neal Levin brought the franchise to Brown Deer. Renovations of the building began last fall.
Rockin’ Jump is the first facility of its kind on the North Shore, but it is comparable to Helium Trampoline and Climbing Park in New Berlin and Sky Zone Trampoline Park in Waukesha.
The facility also features a 9,000-square-foot area specifically reserved for children ages 6 and younger, as well as a select service café and waiting and watching parents lounge area, with Wi-Fi and charging stations, for parents to sit and view their kids on wide-screen monitors.
“We are thrilled to bring the family focused fun of Rockin' Jump to Brown Deer and the greater Milwaukee area,” said Thorpe. “Whether you're burning calories or just having fun, we have something for every age and every level of fitness.”
Rockin' Jump is famous for its birthday parties, Thorpe said, and the Brown Deer facility boasts six private party rooms for children's parties, youth group events and corporate team building.
