Brown Deer —Brown Deer's third annual Eat & Greet on the Street event will feature food, drinks, music and other activities in the Original Village area on Saturday, June 4.
This free, family-friendly event will be held from 3 to 11 p.m. on Deerwood Drive between River Lane and Ruth Place. The event includes live music, as well as food and beverages for sale from local businesses like Larry's Market, Poco Loco Cantina, Pastiche Bistro & Wine Bar, Schulz's Delicatessen and Zi's Sports Pub & Eatery. Local artists will also be selling their original, handmade products.
The live music will kick off at 3 p.m. with the Brown Deer High School Marching Band and Drum Line. At 4:30 p.m., a rock cover band called Verdict will take the stage. The headlining band, Tweed Funk, will play from 8 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Other happenings include children's activities, an obstacle course, pickleball demonstrations, the North Shore Fire Department fire truck, puppies and a visit from Vader, the Brown Deer Police Department's K-9 officer.
