A 43-year-old Oconomowoc woman was arrested July 25 for theft of jewelry valued at over $20,000 from a relative in the 7200 block of North Pierron Road July 22. The woman was identified when she pawned some of the jewelry at a pawn shop.
A 41-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for shoplifting after taking items valued at $596 including a watch and headphones from AT&T, 6150 N. Port Washington Road, about 1 p.m. July 22. The woman hid the items inside her shirt and left but was found at a business next door.
A 28-year-old Glendale man was cited for a second OWI after an accident near the 1000 block of West Bender Road at 11 p.m. July 22. The man, who admitted drinking, had a blood alcohol content of 0.10.
A 39-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for possession of 0.4 grams of marijuana and an ecstasy pill after he was seen backing down the on ramp of Interstate 43 and North Port Washington Road at 2:10 a.m. July 23.
A 43-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for shoplifting after he filled a cart with over 140 items valued at over $880 including $350 of gift cards and attempted to flee Pick ‘n Save, 1735 W. Silver Spring Drive, at 11:40 a.m. July 28.
Two males, 17 and 23, and a 16-year-old girl of Milwaukee were cited for shoplifting after taking men’s underwear and baseball hats valued at $217 at Boston Store, 5701 N. Lydell Ave., at 12:30 p.m. July 28.
A resident saw a male in her car and when she yelled, he fled along with another male in the 4600 block of North Ironwood Lane at 1:55 p.m. July 28.
The following Milwaukee people were cited for shoplifting at Kohl’s, 5650 N. Bayshore Drive: A 31-year-old man took a $33 golf item July 28; A 25-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman filled a bag with $133 of clothing July 28; A 16-year-old girl took three sport bras valued at $85 and put them in another store’s shopping bag Aug. 1.
Three females ate $41 worth of food and then one began arguing about paying the bill, saying her hamburger wasn’t cooked right even though she ate it all at Applebee’s, 5664 N. Port Washington Road, at 4 p.m. July 30. They “fought with employees” and then fled, driving off in a car with a temporary plate.
A 46-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for possession of cocaine and shoplifting after he took $64 of hygiene products and attempted to flee Pick ‘n Save, 1735 W. Silver Spring Drive, at 4:20 p.m. July 30. He was stopped by employees and found with 0.2 grams of cocaine.
A car was entered but nothing taken in the 6100 block of West Willow Glen Lane about 1 p.m. Aug. 2.
A resident reported being the victim of a scam after he got a call saying because he missed jury duty a warrant would be issued for his arrest unless he sent money Aug. 2. The man purchased a $500 Green Dot Card and gave the number to the caller.
Heiser Ford called police reporting that there is an “ongoing theft of dealer plates” at their dealership, 1700 W. Silver Spring Drive, Aug. 3.

The following people were cited at Walmart, 6300 W. Brown Deer Road: A 23-year-old Milwaukee woman took children’s shoes and a watch valued at $17 July 27; A 48-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman of Milwaukee took T-shirts July 28. The man was also cited for possession of a glass drug pipe; Two Milwaukee women, 20 and 27, one with a warrant, took items July 31; A 13-year-old boy and a 33-year-old woman took items Aug. 1. The woman also had a warrant; A 21-year-old Wauwatosa woman, an employee, was cited for possession of 2.12 grams of marijuana after another employee reported she took his wallet Aug. 2.
A front door window was broken to gain entry and an unknown amount of change was taken in the 4200 block of West Cherrywood Lane sometime July 27.
A 25-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for OWI, possibly drug-related, after she was seen driving west in eastbound lanes in the 4500 block of West Brown Deer Road at 12:39 a.m. Aug. 1. A drug recognition expert was at the scene and the woman was taken for a blood draw.
Three bicycles, value not available, were reported taken from a gated unlocked patio in the 4200 block of West Cherrywood Lane Aug. 1.
An iPad, antique silverware and other items, value not listed, were taken during a burglary in the 8700 block of North Kildeer Court during the day Aug. 1. A side door window was broken to gain entry and the residence was reported “ransacked.”
A car window was smashed and entry gained but nothing taken in the 9300 block of North 51st Street Aug. 1 or 2.
A male in his 20s is a suspect in the theft of about 10 Apple iPhones, valued at over $1,200, at Sprint, 5500 W. Brown Deer Road, at 10:40 a.m. Aug. 2. He entered the store and threatened to “kill employees” unless he got the phones. He then grabbed them from a display and fled.
Charges have been referred to the district attorney on a 49-year-old Brown Deer man for disorderly conduct/domestic violence related and car theft after a female reported the man pushed her and then took her car keys and her car in the 9500 block of North 60th Street at 1:23 a.m. Aug. 3.
A 51-year-old Fox Point man was cited for battery, endangering safety and disorderly conduct, all domestic violence-related after allegations he fought with a male, threw wine on a female and threatened her with a BB gun in the 8000 block of North Poplar Drive at 7:11 p.m. July 31. The man, who had a blood alcohol content of 0.21, also had injuries and was treated at a hospital before being taken to the Criminal Justice Facility.
A 33-year-old Cascade woman was cited for her third OWI-drug related, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving left of center and warned for driving after suspension and not carrying her driver’s license in the 8000 block of North Regent Road at 5:21 a.m. Aug. 1. The woman, who failed field sobriety tests and admitted being “under the influence” after taking pain medication before driving, agreed to a blood test. She was in possession of drug paraphernalia, including a trace amount of marijuana wax.
A 36-year-old Bayside man was cited for fleeing police, violation of his parole, driving with a suspended license, two warrants and speeding over 60 mph in a 35 mph zone and along with his passenger, a 35-year-old Milwaukee man, for obstruction after the Bayside man sped away from a squad car with siren and lights flashing in the 8200 block of North Lake Drive at 2:21 a.m. Aug. 4. The two men ran from the car into a house in the 8800 block of North Greenvale Road where they were taken into custody. The Bayside man admitted he was driving but denied speeding and said he didn’t see or hear the squad car.

A resident reported the theft of Oxycodone pills in the 4200 block of North Ardmore Avenue July 29. Workers were in the home during that time.
Residents reported three males in their late teens entering or attempting to enter cars in the 2400 block of East Menlo Boulevard the morning of July 29. They fled in a car reported stolen out of Milwaukee. Other residents also reported three males attempting to enter cars in the 4500 block of North Bartlett Avenue at 2:20 a.m. July 31.
A car was entered and ransacked but nothing of value taken in the 2500 block of Wood Place July 30 or 31.
The following cars were reported stolen July 30 or 31: a 2004 Acura from a garage in the 4400 block of North Woodruff Avenue, a 2014 Ford unlocked with keys inside from the 4100 block of North Stowell Avenue and a locked 2012 Toyota from the 3500 block of North Oakland Avenue.
All four tires were reported “slashed,” causing $400 damage on a car at East Menlo Boulevard and North Murray Avenue sometime July 30 to Aug. 2.
A 2002 Chrysler taken from the 3500 block of North Morris Boulevard overnight July 30 or 31 was recovered in the 4000 block of West Good Hope Road at 6:11 a.m. Aug. 1.
A car was entered but nothing taken in the 4000 block of North Lake Drive between 7:30 and 9:30 p.m. Aug. 1.
Two bicycles were reported stolen, one valued at $400 from the 1300 block of East Capitol Drive sometime July 31 and one valued at $500 from an open garage in the 1800 block of East Wood Place July 31 or Aug. 1.
A 26-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for OWI after he was stopped for speeding 42 mph in a 30 mph zone in the 1200 block of East Henry Clay Street at 1:42 a.m. July 30. His blood alcohol content was 0.12.
Four cars were entered, two locked with windows broken, and a GPS unit taken from one in the following blocks July 30 or 31: Alley behind 4620 North Morris Boulevard and 4900 North Shoreland Avenue, 4900 North Santa Monica Boulevard and the 100 block of East Chateau Place.
An 18-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for speeding 68 mph in a 30 mph zone and fleeing/eluding police after he sped away from police in the 4700 block of North Wilson Drive but was stopped by Glendale police in the 2900 block of West Villard Avenue at 2 a.m. July 31.
Two residents reported attempted scams after calls – one saying he had missed jury duty July 31 and the other had failed to respond to a federal subpoena Aug. 5. Both residents were told to purchase $500 cash cards and give the numbers to the callers.
An 18-year-old Whitefish Bay man was cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and for violation of park hours along with an 18-year-old Brown Deer man at Big Bay Park, 5000 N. Palisades Road, at 11:38 p.m. Aug. 1. The Whitefish Bay man admitted he had drugs in his backpack where 13.3 grams of marijuana, a bong, two pipes, a scale and grinder were found.
A 19-year-old Whitefish Bay man was cited for resisting/obstruction after he was stopped for driving left of center and then refused to follow instructions and struggled with officers in the 5000 block of North Marlborough Drive at 1:53 a.m. Aug. 4.
A 19-year-old Menomonee Falls man was cited for OWI after being stopped for expired registration and driving with a suspended license in the 1200 block of East Hampton Road at 2:51 a.m. Aug. 5. His blood alcohol content was 0.09. A 19-year-old Sussex man, a passenger, was cited for underage drinking.
A 25-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for fleeing/eluding after he was identified as driving a stolen car and fled from the 6300 block of North Bay Ridge Avenue at 9:13 p.m. Aug. 5. He was located a few blocks away.
