Theft

1A 14-year-old Mequon girl was cited May 31 for theft after using another student’s ID number to purchase $42.85 of lunch food the past few weeks at Homestead High School, 5000 W. Mequon Road.

2A pick-up truck and trailer valued at $15,000 were taken from a landscape company in the 9900 block of North Granville Road overnight June 3 or 4. The truck was later found with the trailer still missing near the 1100 block of West North Avenue. A similar theft of a truck and trailer was reported at the same location May 17.

Drug possession

3A 28-year-old Brown Deer man was cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after he was found parked at a closed business in the 5300 block of West County Line Road at 9:55 p.m. May 31. The man said he just stopped to have a cigarette, but there was a strong odor of marijuana in the car and 4.1 grams of the drug were found along with a scale, grinder and pipe, all with residue.

4A 43-year-old Mequon woman was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia, pipes with residue, and violation of parole in the 1500 block of West De La Warr Circle at 12:20 a.m. June 4. The woman, who had been drinking and had a BAC of 0.269, was in violation of her no-drink order while on parole.

OWI

5A 58-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for OWI, driving left of center and defective headlight near the 6500 block of West Mequon Road at 1:53 a.m. May 31. The man had a BAC of 0.13 and was taken for a blood draw.

6A 30-year-old Slinger man was cited for OWI and unsafe lane deviation after he rear-ended a car light on North Port Washington Road at West Glen Oaks Lane at 5:20 p.m. June 1. No injuries were reported. The man had a BAC of 0.10.

Other

A resident reported being the victim of a scam after a “modeling agency” she found online sent her a check for $3995.38, telling her to keep $400 and return the rest to “wardrobe people” June 8. She did that and then was told the check “bounced.” The resident said she found the site while looking for work in the theater or photo shoots.

THIENSVILLE

7Charges have been requested on a 39-year-old Milwaukee woman for battery to a police officer, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct after the woman yelled and screamed at employees at a nail salon when told they would not be able to do her nails that day in the 200 block of North Main Street at 11:30 a.m. June 2. When police arrived, the woman continued to yell and scream and then fought with and injured two officers. The woman was taken to a hospital for evaluation.

8A 54-year-old Naples, Florida, man was cited for his fifth OWI and his second OWI with a child younger than 16 in the car after he was seen speeding and then failing to stop at a red light in the 100 block of North Main Street at 3:04 p.m. June 7. The man, who smelled of alcohol but denied drinking, refused to take field sobriety tests. He also refused a blood draw but a warrant was issued and he was taken for a blood draw.

9A 40-year-old Thiensville man was cited for disorderly conduct after he was seen urinating on the wall of village hall, 250 Elm St., at 12:19 a.m. June 10.
