BROWN DEER

1A car was entered and change taken in the 7900 block of North Sherman Boulevard on April 27 or 28.

2A car with keys inside was taken from the 7800 block of North Sherman Boulevard between midnight and 4 a.m. April 28.

3A $150 lawnmower was taken from the side of a garage in the 8000 block of North 54th Street about 1:15 p.m. April 28.

4Three mailboxes were damaged after being hit by cars, causing a total of $200 damage, two in the 8500 block of North 62nd Street and one in the 5300 block of West Dean Road on April 30 or May 1.

5A male loaded a cart with $300 of liquor and fled Pick ‘n Save, 9200 N. Green Bay Road, about 2:50 p.m. May 1. He drove off in a GMC Canyon pickup truck reported stolen from West Allis.

6A 20-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for shoplifting $46 of clothing at Walmart, 6300 W. Brown Deer Road, at 9:40 a.m. May 1.

7A 15-year-old girl was cited for disorderly conduct after she “stabbed” another female student with a pencil at Brown Deer Middle High School at 10:52 a.m. May 2. The girl was reportedly angry because the other girl “kicked a friend’s chair.”

8A 33-year-old Brown Deer woman was cited for OWI in the 9200 block of North 51st Street at 1:33 a.m. May 4. A resident called police after the woman, who appeared to be intoxicated, rang his doorbell saying she was lost and then drove away.

9Three cars were entered, one locked with a wallet and keys taken, in the 4400 block of West Deer Run and another car entered and rummaged through but nothing taken in the 4500 block of West Deer Run Drive on May 3 or 4. Also reported overnight May 3 or 4 was the theft of a 2008 Lincoln MKZ from the 4600 block of West Deer Run Drive. That car was the involved in a hit-and-run crash in Shorewood.

GLENDALE 

10Two 17-year-old Milwaukee girls were cited for driving a car stolen out of Milwaukee, fleeing police and recklessly endangering safety after police attempted to stop their car for speeding in the 6000 block of North Green Bay Avenue at 9 p.m. April 27. The pursuit was terminated but stop sticks used and the car ended up crashing near the 4800 block of West Hampton Avenue. One girl fled but was identified and found a few hours later and taken into custody.

11The following Milwaukee people were cited for shoplifting at Kohl’s, 5650 N. Bayshore Drive, from April 27 to May 2: A 21-year-old woman was mailed a citation after she and two males fled with items valued at $299 – two Bluetooth speakers, a comforter and a candy bar. The speakers and comforter were recovered but not the candy bar; A 27-year-old woman took shoes and children items valued at $77; A 17-year-old boy took two ties valued at $42, telling police he needed them for the prom; An 18-year-old woman took a $36 bra, hiding it in her pocket.

12Two women fled with jeans, leggings and shirts valued at $145 from Akira, 5675 N. Centerpark Way, at 9 p.m. April 27.

13A car parked in a driveway was broken into and about $40 change taken in the 5600 block of North Stanton Drive on April 27 or 28.

14An officer writing a parking ticket saw marijuana and a pipe with residue in plain sight inside that car in the 2200 block of West Raleigh Avenue at 4 a.m. April 28. The officer used a “lockout tool” to enter the car and took custody of the drugs.

15A 22-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, battery and bail jumping after a 911 call reporting a fight in the 6500 block of North Sidney Place about 8 p.m. April 28. The car sped away but crashed and the man taken into custody.

16A 34-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for his fourth OWI, driving with a revoked license, refusal to take a breath test and failure to install the ignition interlock device after he was found passed out with engine running at West Silver Spring Drive and North Milwaukee Parkway at 3:26 a.m. April 29.

17A 31-year-old West Milwaukee man was cited for his second OWI and open intoxicants in the 1200 block of West Silver Spring Drive at 3:42 a.m. April 29.

18Twenty-two pallets valued at $550 were taken from the 2300 block of West Mill Road about 11 a.m. April 29.

19Two teenage boys were seen grabbing an iPad and two iPhones from a display after breaking the security attachments at US Cellular, 575 W. Northshore Drive, at 1:48 p.m. April 29. They fled in a gold Nissan.

20A 24-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for shoplifting after she filled a store bag with items valued at $576 and fled Victoria’s Secret, 5695 N. Centerpark Way, at 4:53 p.m. April 29.

21The following Milwaukee people were cited for shoplifting at Boston Store, 5701 N. Lydell Ave.: A 24-year-old woman took $276 of clothing April 29; A 32-year-old man took four Polo sweaters valued at $560 April 30. He ran from police but was stopped a few blocks away.

22A 2003 Chrysler van valued at $2,600 with cash inside was taken from La Quinta Inn & Suites, 5423 N. Port Washington Road, overnight May 1 or 2.

SHOREWOOD         

23A 59-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for shoplifting $50 of food and health products at Metro Market, 4075 N. Oakland Ave., at 9:42 a.m. April 27. He was recognized as a previous shoplifter and was then issued four more citations for taking liquor valued at $650 on April 19, 20, 24 and 25.

24“Black Lives Matter” signs were found splattered by paintballs in the 2600 block of East Olive Street about 12:30 p.m. April 27.

25An opossum was reported “huddling” in the first floor parking lot, 4026 N. Oakland Ave., at 6:40 p.m. April 27. The animal was not injured.

26A 62-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and shoplifting after eating food but not paying for it at Metro Market, 4075 N. Oakland Ave., at 9 a.m. April 28. The man had two crack pipes.

27Lawn care equipment valued at more than $600 was taken from a detached, unlocked garage in the 1900 block of East Beverly Road between midnight and 8:30 a.m. April 30.

A resident reported fraudulent use of a credit card that had been “cloned” and used in six transactions totaling $800 at various stores in Columbus, Ohio.

WHITEFISH BAY

28Two Trek bicycles, one valued at about $50, and one Trek 820 were taken in separate incidents, one from the 6300 block of Lydell Avenue between April 30 and May 2, and one from Whitefish Bay High School, 1200 E. Fairmount Ave., between 2 and 4 p.m. May 6.

29A burglary was reported in the 5300 block of North Lydell Avenue at 1:40 p.m. May 1. The resident said a male wearing a white t-shirt took prescription pills from the basement and then pushed her down as he fled out the south door.

30A package with items valued at $50 was taken from a porch in the 200 block of East Henry Clay Street sometime from 3:30 to 7 p.m. May 1.

31Two Milwaukee men, 41 and 47, were cited for theft after they were found with packages in their truck addressed to people in the 5400 and 5500 blocks of North Lydell Avenue and the 100 block of West Birch Avenue at 2:48 p.m. May 3. Police were alerted to the men after discarded packages with Whitefish Bay addresses were found in the 5300 block of North Mohawk Avenue. Items recovered included a $118 jacket and $17 of baby wipes.

32A package with a $28 shirt was taken from the 600 block of East Fairmount Avenue between 1 and 8:30 p.m. May 3.

33A male was seen taking two bottles of vodka and fleeing CVS Pharmacy, 240 E. Hampton Road, at 8:49 pm. May 3.

34Two residents reported entry to their cars with items taken in the 100 block of East Fairmount Avenue on May 3 or 4. A $150 stereo and a $250 Michael Kors handbag was taken from one and paperwork, a charger and about $20 change from the other. Also taken from a porch was a $40 Weber grill.

35A package with $191 of rings was taken from the 200 block of East Chateau Place on May 4 or 5.

36A 17-year-old West Allis boy was cited for OWI after turning into the wrong lane near the 1100 block of East Sylvan Avenue at 1:40 a.m. May 5. A drug recognition expert was called to the scene and the boy taken for a blood draw.

A resident reported that seven of her credit/debit cards were taken from her purse and they were used at Target stores in Wauwatosa and Racine for more than $5,800 sometime before May 5.

37Three unlocked cars parked in a driveway were entered with a pair of pants and a small amount of change taken in the 6200 block of North Berkeley Boulevard, overnight May 5 or 6. Scratches were found on one of the cars and another car was put into gear, rolled down the driveway, sideswiping another car and then hit a tree.

38About $15 was taken from an unlocked car in a driveway in the 6200 block of North Lake Drive between May 4 and 6, and a laptop and about $5 change was taken from a car in the 6100 block of North Santa Monica Boulevard on May 5 or 6.

39A 30-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for OWI after he was stopped for speeding 52 mph in a 30 mph zone in the 4700 block of North Lake Drive at 2:55 a.m. May 6. His BAC was 0.15.

40A 33-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for OWI after he was seen driving erratically and hitting a curb in the 6000 block of North Santa Monica Boulevard at 3:09 a.m. May 7. His BAC was 0.16.
