BROWN DEER

1Two locked cars were entered in the 9100 block of North Goldendale Drive on April 12 or 13. There was no damage and nothing reported taken.

2A 1996 red and white Honda Sport motorcycle valued at $2,000 was taken from a back yard in the 8700 block of North 68th Street sometime April 12 to 14.

3A 17-year-old Brown Deer boy was cited for battery after a report of a fight at Brown Deer Middle High School, 8060 N. 60th St., at 12:45 p.m. April 13.

A resident reported that more than $1,500 had been withdrawn from his bank account by someone in Florida on April 14. The account has been frozen.

4A 34-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for OWI after she parked her car in the median in the 7900 block of North Sherman Boulevard at 1:52 a.m. April 15. Her preliminary BAC was 0.168.

5A car’s back window was found shattered after being hit with BB pellets in the 4300 block of West Dean Road on April 14 or 15.

6Jewelry, checks, cash and frozen food were reported taken from a condo while the owner was away for a short time in the 4200 block of West Cherrywood Lane on April 17.

7A 27-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for OWI-drugs and carrying a concealed weapon in the 7900 block of North Teutonia Avenue at 11 p.m. April 18. The man, who had a gun, was evaluated by a drug recognition expert and taken for a blood draw.

8A 52-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for OWI and a warrant in the 7800 block of North 60th Street April 20.

9A man reported being the victim of a strong-armed robbery in the 9000 block of North Green Bay Road on April 20. As he walked to his car, he reported someone hit him on the back of his head and took about $200.

10The following people were cited for shoplifting at Walmart, 6300 W. Brown Deer Road, April 13 to 20: Two Milwaukee females, 17 and 20, took cosmetics items valued at $147; Two Brown Deer women, 20 and 33, and an 18-year-old Glendale woman also took beauty products/cosmetics; A 20-year-old Milwaukee man took a backpack and electronics and fled but was stopped a few blocks away and cited for resisting arrest; A 32-year-old Kewaskum man took items valued at $450; A 27-year-old Hartford woman, who was also cited for possession of drug paraphernalia, took items valued at $188; A 23-year-old Milwaukee woman was also taken into custody on a warrant.

FOX POINT

11A 27-year-old Marshfield woman was cited for OWI-drugs, reckless driving/endangering safety and charges pending for possession of narcotic drugs after a one-car accident in the 6500 block of North Lake Drive at 11:43 a.m. April 22. The car was found in a ditch with a blown out tire and the woman slumped over in the front seat. North Shore Fire was called to the scene and the woman given Narcan. She admitted driving to Milwaukee and meeting a man at a gas station to buy the drug. A baggie with what appeared to be heroin was in the car along with a rolled up dollar bill with residue. She was taken to a hospital and agreed to a blood draw.

GLENDALE 

12A 21-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for theft from his employer after he was seen on video taking $180 from the register at Holiday Inn, 4700 N. Port Washington Road, at 6:43 a.m. March 27.

13A 24-year-old Milwaukee man was cited on two counts of possession of marijuana and three warrants after he was stopped for suspended plates and not wearing a seatbelt in the 5200 block of North 25th Street at 6 p.m. April 6. A baggie was seen in a storage compartment near the steering wheel. It held 13 grams of marijuana that the man said was his.

14A 27-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for her second OWI, possession of marijuana and a warrant for OWI in the 5400 block of North Port Washington Road, at 1:40 a.m. April 10. The woman, who had a BAC of 0.12 and 0.6 grams of marijuana in her pocket, was taken into custody. A short time later, a 24-year-old Milwaukee man, who was a passenger, came to post bail for the woman and was cited on a possession of marijuana warrant.

15A 26-year-old Milwaukee man was cited April 10 after taking $374 from his employer in the 400 block of West Northshore Drive on Jan. 24. He quit his job a week after taking the money.

16The window of a 2017 Volkswagen was found with bullet holes at Umansky, 1400 W. Silver Spring Drive, at 9:30 a.m. April 14. Damage was $700.

17The following Milwaukee people were cited for shoplifting at Kohl’s, 5650 N. Bayshore Drive, April 13 to 15: A 37-year-old woman took spandex leggings valued at $88; A 24-year-old man took a $21 watch, admitting to police, “I just did it to do it;” A 30-year-old woman took two bras and toddler shirts valued at $132.

A 38-year-old Glendale woman was cited for disorderly conduct/domestic abuse related after hitting a man knocking him to the  ground and broke a mirror at 7:20 p.m. April

14. The woman had been drinking.

18A 20-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for possession of 0.46 grams of marijuana after he was stopped for expired plates in the 2400 block of West Silver Spring Drive at 10:20 p.m. April 14. There was a strong odor of marijuana and man admitted smoking it saying, “That’s all I do.”

19A woman put two pairs of leggings valued at $92 into her purse and fled Victoria’s Secret, 5695 N. Centerpark Way, at 2:30 p.m. April 15. Security attempted to stop her but she was able to run away.

20A man reported being the victim of fraud after purchasing what he thought was a Samsung S7 phone advertised on Craigslist that turned out to be counterfeit in the 5500 block of North Port Washington Road on April 9 and reported April 17. He paid $220 to a male about 20 and found out later the phone was counterfeit when he attempted to activate it.

21More than 90 sheets of metal peg board valued at $5,000 were taken from the rear of a business in the 200 block of West Coventry Court sometime April 14 to 17. Each sheet weighs about 60 pounds.

22A 19-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for theft, possession of drug paraphernalia - a scale with residue - disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and discharge of bodily fluids after a report of him shoplifting at a Bayshore Town Center store, 5800 North Bayshore Drive, at 6 p.m. April 17. The man, who admitted using drugs, struggled with officers and refused to follow orders and was Tased. North Shore Fire was called to the scene and the man spit in the face of a firefighter who was trying to give him oxygen. He was taken to a hospital.

RIVER HILLS

23A 23-year-old Oak Creek woman was cited for OWI and open intoxicants after she was seen weaving in traffic near West Brown Deer and North Spruce roads at 2:42 a.m. April 16. She denied drinking at first but then said she had “a lot of vodka earlier.” An open bottle of vodka was in the car. The woman failed field sobriety tests and had a BAC of 0.17.

24A 17-year-old Milwaukee boy was cited for possession of marijuana and driving without a valid license after he was seen weaving in traffic and speeding as he drove west from the 4000 block of West Brown Deer Road at 1:49 a.m. April 22. There was an odor of marijuana in the car where 0.8 grams was found and the boy admitted the marijuana was his. He had no identification and told police he was driving a rental car and coming from a prom.

25A 46-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for OWI and warned for unsafe lane deviation in the 3500 block of West Brown Deer Road at 12:30 a.m. April 23. The man, who smelled of alcohol and failed field sobriety tests, had a BAC of 0.10.

SHOREWOOD         

26A 24-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for possession of 1.6 grams of marijuana , driving with a suspended license and expired registration in the 4200 block of North Wilson Drive at 1:16 a.m. April 14.

27A resident reported a female, about 5 feet, 9 inches tall wearing a purple shirt, asked for money saying “I’d rather ask for money than have to rob you” in the 2500 block of East Stratford Court at 5:15 p.m. April 14. That woman was not located.

28A 22-year-old Menomonee Falls woman was cited for driving with a revoked license and speeding 61 mph in a 30 mph zone in the 1200 block of East Capitol Drive at 12:17 p.m. April 16.

Residents reported that after attempting to file their federal taxes “yesterday” were told that someone using their social security numbers had already filed those taxes April 16.

29A 19-year-old Merrill man was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia after a report of someone playing a “stereo too loud” in the 4400 block of North Oakland Avenue at 12:39 a.m. April 17. The man had a grinder and a glass bong both with residue.

30The attempted theft of an unlocked pickup truck was reported in the 3900 block of North Murray Avenue at 8 a.m. April 17. Someone entered the truck parked in the back of the property and found a house key that they forced into the ignition switch, causing damage.

31A 56-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for shoplifting after taking a $34 bottle of Crown Royal at Metro Market, 4075 N. Oakland Ave., at 8:23 p.m. April 17.

32Items valued at more than $800, including watches, cuff links and a 55-inch TV, were taken from the 1600 block of East Beverley Road between 6:15 and 9:27 p.m. April 18. A rear door was forced open to gain entry.

WHITEFISH BAY

33Five cars were entered and items taken from two in the 5100, 5200, 5500 and 5900 blocks of North Bay Ridge Avenue overnight April 13 or 14. A backpack with a laptop computer valued at $1,250 and a duffle bag with clothing were taken from one car and a $40  iHome Bluetooth speaker from another.

34A 58-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for shoplifting after taking four bottles of Jack Daniels valued at $204 at CVS Pharmacy, 240 E. Hampton Road, at 6:20 p.m. April 15. He fled the store but was found about a block away.

35A 32-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for her second OWI after she was seen weaving in traffic in the 5500 block of North Lake Drive at 3:13 a.m. April 16. When police pulled her over, the car in front of her also stopped. The driver of that car, a 44-year-old Milwaukee man, was cited for his first OWI and refusal to take a breath. The woman had a BAC of 0.12.

36What appeared to be pry marks were found on a dead bolt at a home in the 5300 block of North Diversey Boulevard on April 16.

37Two packages were taken from a front porch in the 5000 block of North Santa Monica Boulevard between 12:30 and 1 p.m. April 12 and reported April 17.

38A 25-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for OWI-drugs and her passenger, a 25-year-old Milwaukee man, on a warrant after she was stopped for a defective tail light in the 4600 block of North Lake Drive at 12:09 a.m. April 19. The woman refused a blood draw.

39A Samsung TV, Toshiba laptop and other items were taken from a home in the 300 block of East Lake View Avenue sometime April 16 to 22. A front door window was broken to gain entry.

40A 24-year-old Cedarburg woman was cited for OWI, driving left of center and violation of a red light in the 800 block of East Henry Clay Street at 2:32 a.m. April 22. Her BAC was 0.14.

41A secured 2003 Dodge Grand Caravan valued at $2,000 was taken from the 100 block of East Chateau Place at 3:06 p.m. April 22. The owner saw the car being driven away and called police.

42A $150 security camera was taken from a screened-in porch in the 300 block of East Lake View Avenue about 8:30 p.m. April 21 and reported April 22.

43A $70 solar lawn ornament was taken from the 4900 block of North Cumberland Boulevard on April 21 or 22.

44Two people were seen taking packages from a porch and then running up the driveway and over a fence in the 4700 block of North Larkin Street at 7:48 p.m. April 22. A perimeter was established and a K-9 search instigated but the suspects were not found. A car at the scene, described as “involved,” was stolen out of Milwaukee. Clothing, perhaps related to the theft, was found in the 4700 block of North Woodburn Street at 10:30 a.m. April 23.

45About $8 in change was taken from an unlocked car in an unlocked detached garage in the 4800 block of North Oakland Avenue on April 22 or 23.
