1A 35-year-old Brown Deer woman was cited for hit-and-run and ”failure to notify” an accident after she rammed her rental minivan into a mailbox, “destroying” it, and then drove into a ditch causing more damage in the 3400 block of West Spring Lane at 2 p.m. March 14.

2A 44-year-old Brown Deer man was cited for possession of heroin, cocaine and drug paraphernalia, a tin container, syringes and a crack pipe, after he was seen riding a bike in the dark without lights in the 5200 block of West Beaver Creek Parkway at 6 a.m. March 16.

3A male was seen taking two bottles of liquor at Pick ‘n Save, 9200 N. Green Bay Road, at 4 p.m. March 16. He drove off in a Buick Rivera.

4A 26-year-old Brown Deer man was cited for vandalism after shooting his BB gun and shattering a neighbor’s window, causing $500 damage in the 9000 block of North Park Plaza Court at 11:15 p.m. March 17. The man admitted shooting the gun, saying he was aiming at a beer bottle.

5A 32-year-old Brown Deer man was cited for OWI, driving with a suspended license and a parole violation after hitting a light pole in the 7600 block of North Teutonia Avenue at 1:47 a.m. March 18. His preliminary BAC was 0.211.

6A 57-year-old Mequon man was cited for OWI after he was stopped for speeding in the 9300 block of North Green Bay Road at 12:52 a.m. March 19. His BAC was 0.19.

A 63-year-old Brown Deer man was cited for disorderly conduct/domestic violence related after he threatened a woman, physically taking her car keys and not allowing her to leave the residence at 1:49 p.m. March 19.

7A 17-year-old Milwaukee boy was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia, a pipe with residue, in the 6300 block of West Brown Deer Road at 4:30 p.m. March 19. He was a passenger in car parked in the fire lane. The car smelled of marijuana and the pipe was found in a purse.

8The following incidents were reported at Walmart, 6300 W. Brown Deer Road: A male was seen on video pushing a cart into a squad car, causing minor damage at 5:25 p.m. March 19; A 32-year-old Elkhart man was cited for shoplifting candy and cases of Red Bull at 10:45 p.m. March 19; A 24-year-old Bayside woman took underwear at 6:45 p.m. March 21.

9Eleven cars were entered and various items taken including an iPod Touch, a GPS Unit, a wallet with $45 and change of change from the following blocks overnight March 19 and 20: 6100, 6200, and 6300 West Darnell Avenue, 8600 North 63rd Street, 8500 and 8600 North 64th Street.

10Tools and lawn equipment were taken from a garage in the 8000 block of North Greenview Court March 18 and reported March 20.

A 49-year-old Brown Deer man was cited on two counts of battery, one with the added while armed, after hitting a woman in the face at 8 p.m. March 21.

11A gun was taken from an unlocked car in the 9000 block of North Pearlette Lane, on March 21 or 22.

12A 45-year-old Glendale man was cited for his fourth OWI and a passenger, a 28-year-old Milwaukee man, on a warrant, after a call reporting the man, who was intoxicated and threatened other patrons, had just left a bar in the 8700 block of North Deerwood Drive, at 1:28 a.m. March 22. The man was taken for a blood draw.


A resident reported being the victim of a fraud after someone used her name and address to open a checking account and then used one of the checks to buy $284 of items at JC Penny in September. She found out about the fraud when contacted by a collection agency March 17.


13A contractor confronted two men after they had taken tools valued at over $3,200 from two work vans in the 700 block of West Glendale Avenue before 1 p.m. March 6. Those men then drove off in an older model car, possibly a Chevrolet.

14A 1998 Jeep valued at $2,500 with more than $3,000 of clothing inside was taken from the 700 block of West Bender Road on March 6 or 7.

15A 42-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for fraud after using a false social security card and employment and salary information attempting to obtain a $5,000 personal loan at Educators Credit Union, 7139 N. Port Washington Road, at 2 p.m. March 7.

16A 20-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for possession of a Schedule II narcotic, manufacturing and distributing of cocaine and bail jumping and a 40-year-old Milwaukee man for a warrant at Motel 6, 5485 N. Port Washington Road, at 9 p.m. March 14. Police were at the motel to arrest the man on the warrant and found the younger man in the room with cocaine, Oxycodone pills and drug paraphernalia.

A 55-year-old Glendale woman was cited for battery/domestic violence related after she slapped and scratched the face of a man at 12:30 a.m. March 15.

17A 24-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, two counts of first-degree reckless endangerment, resisting, simple assault causing great bodily harm, criminal damage to property and a warrant after a report of the odor of marijuana in a room at the Radisson Inn, 7065 N. Port Washington Road, at 10:15 p.m. March 17. The man fled the room, got into his car and drove off but was stopped at I-43 and Green Tree Road. He then rammed a squad four times causing injury to an officer, who was taken to a hospital and later released.

18A 22-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for OWI after he was found slumped over in his car at the gas pumps at Citgo, 6204 N. Port Washington Road, at 2:26 a.m. March 18. The man failed field sobriety tests and had a BAC of 0.15.

19Four known suspects were seen taking $200 of meat and driving away from Pick ‘n Save, 1735 W. Silver Spring Drive, at 4:23 p.m. March 20.

A resident reported being the victim of a scam after receiving a call from “the IRS” and mistakenly giving the caller his social security number the evening of March 20. He realized it was a scam after the caller demanded he provide more personal information.

A 45-year-old Black Creek man was cited for disorderly conduct/domestic violence related and bail jumping after he grabbed a woman’s wrist and threatened her in front of their child at 7:37 p.m. March 16. The man was out on bail for another domestic violence incident occurring in Outagamie County.

20A resident reported she purchased a cat from someone on Facebook for $125 but had to return it because her roommate was allergic to the cat in the 1800 block of East Kenmore Place on March 17. The previous owner picked up the cat but had not returned her money so she called police, who informed her it was a civil matter.

21Two iPads valued at $330 each were reported missing after an inventory was taken at Lake Bluff Elementary School, 1600 E. Lake Bluff Blvd., on March 17.

22Six counterfeit $20 bills were passed at Starbucks, 4170 N. Oakland Ave., sometime March 16 to 19 and reported March 20.

A resident reported an attempted scam after receiving a message from the Federal Government on March 22. The resident did not respond.


23A wallet and contents, including credit cards and $100, was taken from a locked  car in the 4700 block of North Cramer Street overnight March 18 or 19. A window was broken to gain entry. The cards were cancelled and no action was reported.

24A 20-year-old Glendale woman was cited for OWI-drugs and possession of 0.6 grams of marijuana after she was stopped for an obscured license plate in the 5100 block of North Santa Monica Boulevard at 1:42 a.m. March 20. The woman was taken for a blood draw.

25Police were notified of attempted shoplifting by a male in his 40s at CVS Pharmacy, 240 E. Hampton Road, about 4:30 p.m. March 13 and again March 20. On both dates, the man filled a cart with “personal care items” valued at more than $300, pushed the cart out of the store and, when confronted by employees, fled on foot.

26A 22-year-old woman and a 26-year-old man of Milwaukee were mailed citations after a report of them fighting and the woman damaging the man’s car in the 100 block of West Silver Spring Drive at 5:45 p.m. March 23. Both were cited for disorderly conduct and the woman also for criminal damage to property.

27A 32-year-old Bayside man was cited for obstruction after he was seen driving a car with extensive damage and when an officer attempted to stop him drove away, pulling into a driveway in the 1000 block of West Silver Spring Drive at 2:24 a.m. March 25. He went into the residence and then would not come to the door. The car was towed and the man later cited and also ordered into the DA’s office.
