BROWN DEER

The district attorney is reviewing charges of domestic violence/disorderly conduct while armed on a 32-year-old Milwaukee man who threatened a woman while holding a gun and would not let her drive away at 3 a.m. March 4. Police were alerted by 911 calls and when they arrived, the gun was found at the scene but the man, who was identified, had fled.

1The following Milwaukee women were cited for shoplifting at Walmart, 6300 W. Brown Deer Road: A 50-year-old took liquor and underwear valued at $176 March 5; An 18-year-old took cosmetics and a 29-year-old took beauty products both on March 7.

A 34-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for physical abuse of a child after he hit a 13-year-old Brown Deer girl with a belt March 6.

A 22-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for battery/domestic violence related after he pushed a woman, bit her and then took her car keys and phone at 9:40 p.m. March 6.

2A 22-year-old St. Louis woman was cited for damage to property after she broke a woman’s laptop and “messed up” the woman’s bedroom in the 4300 block of West Spring Lane, at 3 p.m. March 7.

3An iPhone 6 valued at more than $300 was taken from an unlocked locker in the boys locker room during a gym class at Brown Deer Middle High School, 8060 N. 60th St., on March 7 and reported March 8.

4Two unlocked cars were entered with a small amount of change taken from one in the 8400 block of North 50th Street on March 8 or 9.

FOX POINT

A resident reported that his American Express card had been used fraudulently to charge $6,000, that gift cards had been purchased using his Amazon account and there was an attempt to use his identification to open a PayPal account Feb. 19. American Express had notified the resident and the charges were voided and the card cancelled.

5A 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix valued at $3,900 was reported taken with keys from Cardinal Stritch University, 6801 N. Yates Road, on March 2. The owner, a student, had parked the car about 6 p.m. Feb. 28 and hung the keys inside her dorm room. The keys were gone and surveillance video showed a person wearing a hooded jacket taking the car March 1. It was recovered after being involved in an accident in the 2500 block of West Hampton Avenue at 2 a.m. March 7.

6An exterior glass door and two interior glass doors were “shattered” at the Riverpoint Salon and Spa, 8653 N. Port Washington Road, between 3:45 and 7:49 a.m. March 4. Inside the salon, a glass table was also broken and desk drawers were found opened and items moved around. A metal trash can lid found inside might have been used to break the glass.

A resident reported that someone in California had used his personal information attempting to open a Cardmember Service account March 10. The card was never issued and the resident said he didn’t know anyone in California.

GLENDALE 

7The following shoplifting incidents were reported at H&M, 5765 N. Bayshore Drive:

A 21-year-old Milwaukee woman, who took women’s and children’s clothing valued at $500, was mailed a citation for shoplifting and trespassing after she was seen on video taking the items Feb. 21; Three women were seen taking items valued at $150 and fleeing at 3:52 p.m. March 1; A 15-year-old Milwaukee boy was cited after taking four pairs of pants valued at $140 at 8 p.m. March 2; A 20-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited after taking necklaces valued at $29 March 4.

8A 23-year-old Milwaukee woman was mailed a citation for theft from her employer, Applebee’s, 5664 N. Port Washington Road, at 11:15 p.m. Feb. 25. The woman, a server, walked out the emergency door keeping $42 that she was to turn in.

9A 21-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for shoplifting, possession of a shielding device, resisting an officer and, along with a 26-year-old Milwaukee woman, for a warrant at Victoria’s Secret, 5695 N. Centerpark Way, at 6:45 p.m. Feb. 27. The 21-year-old put the items valued at $130 into a booster bag and then fled from police.

10Two catalytic converters valued at $2,000 and two snow plow controllers valued at $640 were taken from trucks at Lexus North Shore, 1433 W. Silver Spring Drive, between 4 p.m. Feb. 27 and 4 p.m. Feb. 28.

11An iPhone 6 valued at $500 was taken after a customer left it on a display at Old Navy, 5810 N. Bayshore Drive, at 12:44 p.m. March 1.

12A student reported that an iPhone valued at $440 was taken from a class room during ACT testing at Nicolet High School, 6701 N. Jean Nicolet Road, on Feb. 27 and reported March 2.

13A 34-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for shoplifting after taking perfume valued at $200 at Boston Store, 5701 N. Lydell Ave., at 12:30 p.m. March 2.

14A 15-year-old Glendale girl was cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at Nicolet High School, 6701 N. Jean Nicolet Road, at 1 p.m. March 2. The girl ran from staff members but was stopped and found with 0.55 grams of marijuana, a lighter and cigars used to make blunts.

15A 20-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for possession of marijuana, driving without a valid license, failure to have insurance and a warrant after she was stopped for no license plates in the 5200 block of North Port Washington Road at 5 p.m. March 3. There was a strong odor of marijuana in the car and 0.8 grams of the drug was found in the car. The woman said she just bought it and “likes to smoke weed.”

16A 23-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for battery and disorderly conduct after attacking a female at a restaurant in the 500 block of West Silver Spring Drive, at 9:30 pm. March 3. The man fled the scene but was located at his home.

17A 41-year-old Kansas City man was cited for prowling and a warrant for “larceny from vehicle” after he was seen walking in a car lot in the 1200 block of West Silver Spring Drive at 4:52 a.m. March 4. In his car were wooden blocks and tools used to remove tires and rims. The man said he was “just walking.”

18A 17-year-old Milwaukee boy was cited for obstruction and shoplifting a $70 pair of jeans at Kohl’s, 5650 N. Bayshore Drive, at 7:35 p.m. March 4. The boy ran from police and, when stopped, gave a false name.

19Three Milwaukee males, 17, 18 and 19, were cited for possession of marijuana and loitering and the 19-year-old also for carrying a concealed weapon after they were found in the north lot of Umansky, 1400 W. Silver Spring Drive, at 9 p.m. March 4. A loaded gun belonging to the 19-year-old was found in the car along with 0.4 grams of marijuana.

20A 22-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for possession of 0.51 grams of marijuana and shoplifting after taking items valued at $301 at Ulta Beauty, 5654 N. Bayshore Drive, at 4:45 p.m. March 5. When cited, the woman said, “I’m sorry I stole stuff.”

21A 35-year-old Belgium man was cited for possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia and shoplifting after taking a $55 pair of shoes at Kohl’s, 5650 N. Bayshore Drive, at 5:25 p.m. March 5. The man had 0.34 grams of cocaine, a metal pipe and chore boy with residue.

SHOREWOOD

22A 21-year-old Milwaukee man, an employee, was cited for theft after he was seen taking food that he did not pay for during his breaks at Metro Market, 4075 N. Oakland Ave., at 5 p.m. March 2. The man admitted taking about $300 worth of food over the last several months. He was released from his job.

A resident reported being the victim of a scam after attempting to sell his time-share property online March 3. He was contacted by someone in the Dominican Republic and during what the resident thought was the purchase of the time-share wired money totaling more than $8,000. There was no sale.

23A 35-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for shoplifting a $35 bottle of Crown Royal whiskey at Metro Market, 4075 N. Oakland Ave., at 4 p.m. March 7. The woman fled the store but was later identified.

24A woman called Shorewood police to ask to extend her parking permission because she had a flat tire and couldn’t move her car in the 4000 block of North Bartlett Avenue at 9 a.m. March 8. An officer went to that location and changed the tire for the woman.

WHITEFISH BAY

25Items valued at more than $800, including a TV, were taken during a burglary in the 5500 block of North Hollywood Avenue on March 4. When the incident occurred was not known.

26Items valued at more than $1,800, including a TV and watches, were reported taken from the 5200 block of North Santa Monica Boulevard on March 5. A back door was forced open. When the burglary occurred was not known.

27A 23-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for possession of 0.75 grams of marijuana after he was reported walking around saying he was lost in the 6000 block of North Berkeley Boulevard at 3:50 a.m. March 6.

28A 34-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for possession of marijuana and driving without a valid license after he was stopped for a defective headlight in the 300 block of East Hampton Road at 8:50 p.m. March 6. The man had 18 grams of marijuana and was taken for a blood draw and to be medically cleared.

29A black Lexus was taken from the 1200 block of East Fairmount Avenue after a Whitefish Bay student parked it at 7:40 a.m. and reported it gone at 4:15 p.m. March 7.

30An unattached garage was entered but nothing taken in the 5200 block of North Diversey Boulevard on March 8 or 9.

31A package with clothing valued at more than $300 was taken from the 4900 block of North Marlborough Drive during the day March 8 and reported March 9.

32A 23-year-old Mequon man was cited for OWI after failing to stop at a sign in the 4800 block of North Bartlett Avenue at 3:12 a.m. March 10. His BAC was 0.24.

A resident reported an attempted scam after a call saying her granddaughter was in Florida and needed money March 10. The granddaughter was not in Florida but in class at Whitefish Bay Middle School. No money was sent.

33A 27-year-old Shorewood man was cited for OWI and speeding 40 mph in a 25 mph zone in the 1400 block of East Lancaster Avenue at 1:28 .m. March 12. His BAC was 0.08.

34A burglary was reported in the 5300 block of North Shoreland Avenue on March 12. A window was broken to gain entry and some rooms were rummaged through.
