1A male was cited for OWI and speeding 92 mph in a 55 mph zone in the 8800 block of I-43 at 3:55 a.m. Jan. 28. He failed field sobriety tests and had a BAC of 0.14.


2The following Milwaukee people, unless otherwise noted, were cited for shoplifting at Walmart, 6300 W. Brown Deer Road, from Jan. 18 to 24: A 20-year-old man, who had a warrant, took a shirt; A 15-year-old boy took a Bluetooth speaker and a Packers sweater and his 34-year-old mother, who was seen on video watching the boy steal and did not try to stop him, was cited for contributing to the delinquency of a minor; A 17-year-old girl took $15 of hair products; A man ran out of the store with a TV and drove away; A 20-year-old man took a $14 radio transmitter; A 20-year-old a woman hid $46 of baby clothing in her purse; A 22-year-old Hickory Hills, Illinois, man took $600 of hard drives; A 14-year-old boy who hid items in his clothes was also cited for trespassing; A 46-year-old man took shoes.

3A 15-year-old Milwaukee boy was cited for shoplifting three drones valued at $211 and two warrants at Office Depot, 9094 N. Green Bay Road, at 8:27 a.m. Jan. 20. The boy fled the store with the drones and got on a bus. That bus was stopped and the boy cited.

4A 15-year-old Brown Deer boy was cited for possession of marijuana at Brown Deer Middle High School, 8060 N. 60th St., at 2 p.m. Jan. 20. The boy, who had 0.71 grams of marijuana in his locker, said he had bought it “earlier.”

5A $200 cell phone was taken from a man’s locker at the YMCA, 9250 N. Green Bay Road, before 8:30 p.m. Jan. 20.

6A 21-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for possession of 14.97 grams of marijuana in her car stopped in the 7600 block of North Sherman Boulevard at 8:35 p.m.  Jan. 20. There were two men in the car but the woman said the marijuana was hers.

A 17-year-old Brown Deer girl was cited for battery/domestic violence related after she hit a relative with a phone, causing injury at 11:15 p.m. Jan. 20.

7Items, including a laptop, watches and clothing, were taken from the 8700 block of North 68th Street before 2 p.m. Jan. 21. The front door had been forced open.

A 49-year-old Brown Deer man was cited for disorderly conduct/domestic violence related and two counts of battery and damage to property after he and other family members got into a fight at 1:20 a.m. Jan. 23. The man, who had injuries, was treated at a hospital.

8A 2001 Chevy Cavalier was taken from the 9000 block of North Park Plaza Court sometime over the past year and reported Jan. 24.

9A 24-year-old Milwaukee woman was mailed a citation for failure to stop for a school bus with the red lights on and the stop sign extended in the 8200 block of North 51st Street the morning of Jan. 24.

10A 31-year-old woman and her daughter, 13, of Brown Deer were both mailed citations for disorderly conduct and the girl was also cited for resisting arrest after another girl called police reporting that the girl had threatened “to assault her” in the 4300 block of West Bradley Road at 2:40 p.m. Jan. 24. When police arrived, the mother and daughter struggled with officers, using profane language.


11A 27-year-old River Hills man was cited for driving under the influence, driving without a valid license and non-registration in the 7700 block of North Port Washington Road at 1:51 a.m. Jan 22. His license expired Nov. 6 and the registration May 15. When asked if he had anything to drink, the man said, “Nothing really” and later said he had “one drink.” He smelled of alcohol, had bloodshot and glassy eyes. His BAC was 0.045 and he was taken for a blood draw.


12Miscellaneous electronics valued at more than $300 were taken from the 5700 block of North Sidney Place between 1:30 and 4:15 p.m. Jan. 6. A back door was kicked in to gain entry.

13An 18-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for theft from her employer, Forever 21, 5766 N. Bayshore Drive, Jan. 13. Over a number of weeks, the woman made false returns of more than $1,000 on items not purchased, crediting that amount on a store credit card.

14The following Milwaukee people were cited for shoplifting at Kohl’s, 5650 N. Bayshore Drive: A 16-year-old boy was seen on surveillance video grabbing items, including jewelry and clothing, without looking at prices or sizes and altering price tags and removing sensors of items valued at more than $2,300 and loading them into a suitcase. He was stopped as he attempted to flee; Two 17-year-old girls hid clothing and jewelry valued at $226 in their purses and jackets Jan. 18; A 60-year-old woman took eight cologne testers valued at $290 Jan. 18; Two females, 16 and 18, hid items valued at more than $230 in their coats and a backpack Jan. 18. The 16-year-old was cited again after she was found with items taken from The Gap and Forever 21; A male took Nike items valued at $120 and drove off in a Mercury on Jan. 21.

15A 19-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after a report of the odor of marijuana coming from a dorm room in Claire Hall at Cardinal Stritch University, 6801 N. Yates Road, at 12:45 a.m. Jan. 16. A jar with marijuana and a pipe with residue were found in her room and the woman admitted they belonged to her.

16A 28-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for OWI after he waved down a squad car in the 6300 block of North Port Washington Road reporting he’d been in an accident on Highway 41 at 9:05 p.m. Jan. 16. One of his front tires was missing and there was heavy damage to the front of the car. The man, who was unsteady on his feet and admitted he had too much to drink, had a BAC of 0.13.

17A 35-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for disorderly conduct and bail jumping after he caused a disturbance at a clinic, including threatening employees and hitting one with a crutch, in the 2500 block of West Silver Spring Drive at 2:45 p.m. Jan. 17.

18Two males were seen taking clothing items valued at $285 and fleeing H&M, 5765 N. Bayshore Drive, at 3:50 p.m. Jan. 19. They were followed out of the store by an employee, who was punched in the arm by another male, and then the three drove off in a Nissan reported stolen out of Milwaukee.

19A 25-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for possession of marijuana and a warrant after police were called because she and another woman were being disruptive in the lobby of Motel 6, 5485 N. Port Washington Road, at 7:22 a.m. Jan. 20. She had 0.64 grams of marijuana hidden in her bra.

20A 24-year-old Glendale man was cited for disorderly conduct, violation of a restraining order and theft after taking a Xbox game in the 1400 block of West Custer Avenue at 9:30 a.m. Jan. 20.

21Six males and females were reported fighting in and outside of Auntie Anne’s, 5800 N. Bayshore Drive, at 8 p.m. Jan. 20. An employee, who was hit by one of the suspects, reported she knew some of the people because they were students at Rufus King High School.

22Two females in their 20s, one who was pregnant, were seen shoplifting at Victoria’s Secret, 5695 N. Centerpark Way, at 5:45 p.m. Jan. 21. The females walked around the store picking up more than 100 items valued at more than $4,300 and placed those items near the front door. After making several trips, they picked up the items and fled, driving off in a Jeep Patriot.

23A 36-year-old Mequon man was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct after he threatened a woman with a knife in the lobby of LaQuinta, 5423 N. Port Washington Road, at 9:10 p.m. Jan. 21. The man was found in his room and gave permission for police to enter and search where the paraphernalia was found, including a crack pipe.

24A 24-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for battery/domestic violence related after he attacked a woman at Motel 6, 5485 N. Port Washington Road, at 5 p.m. Jan. 22.

25A 43-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for shoplifting after filling a cart with items valued at $431 and attempting to flee Metro Market, 4075 N. Oakland Ave., at 12:50 p.m. Jan. 19.

26Two packages, one with $35 of LED lights and one with $40 of drawer liners, were taken, one from the 1600 block of East Newton Avenue on Jan. 21 and one from the 4000 block of North Oakland Avenue on Jan. 23.

27A 20-year-old Shorewood man was cited for underage drinking after a report of an intoxicated male unable to enter his home in the 2000 block of East Menlo Boulevard at 1:51 a.m. Jan. 21.

28An 18-year-old Wauwatosa man and a 16-year-old Shorewood girl were cited for possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a Schedule II narcotic after a report of a car parked in a private lot in the 2100 block of East Capitol Drive at midnight Jan. 24.

29A male was seen on video taking liquor valued at $224 at Metro Market, 4075 N. Oakland Ave., about 4:05 p.m. Jan. 24.

30An envelope with a $470 gift card was taken from a mailbox in the 3900 block of North Maryland Avenue on Jan. 25.

31A 16-year-old Shorewood boy was cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at Shorewood High School, 1701 E. Capitol Drive, at 11 a.m. Jan. 25.


32A 22-year-old Kenosha woman was cited for OWI after she was stopped for speeding 41 mph in a 25 mph zone in the 5100 block of North Santa Monica Boulevard at 8 p.m. Jan. 22. Her BAC was 0.15.

33A 45-year-old Shorewood woman was cited for her third OWI after she was stopped for defective tail lamp near the 2000 block of East Cumberland Boulevard at 12 a.m. Jan. 23. She was taken for a blood draw.

34A 39-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for OWI after he was seen driving left of center, almost hitting a parked car in the 500 block of East Henry Clay Street at 3:45 a.m. Jan. 23. He was taken for a blood draw.

35A 25-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for OWI-drugs after he was stopped for the car owner having a suspended license in the 100 block of West Hampton Road at 9:11 p.m. Jan. 23. He was taken for a blood draw.

36A 21-year-old Chicago woman was cited for prescription fraud after attempting to have that prescription filled at CVS Pharmacy, 240 E. Hampton Road, at 11:32 a.m. Jan. 28.

A resident reported his name had been used fraudulently to open a Target credit card Jan. 28.

37A 16-year-old Mequon boy was mailed a citation for underage drinking after police responded to a report of a boy unconscious but breathing in the 6000 block of North Berkeley Boulevard at 1:19 a.m. Jan. 29. According to a report, the boy had consumed a “a large amount of alcohol” and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
