1A 16-year-old boy was cited for disorderly conduct, battery and resisting after he and another boy, who fled, were fighting at Brown Deer Middle High School, 8060 N. 60th St., on  Dec. 21.

2Two females ran off with $100 of birthday items at Party City, 9160 N. Green Bay Road, at 5:55 p.m. Dec. 21.

3Police responded to an alarm and found a front window broken and entry gained at Sprint, 5500 W. Brown Deer Road, at 10:30 p.m. Dec. 22. Phones and tablets were reported taken and displays damaged.

4An 18-year-old Milwaukee woman was mailed citations for shoplifting, disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property after refusing to pay for candy, threatening an employee and then breaking a computer at Walgreens, 6020 W. Brown Deer Road, at 2:47 p.m. Dec. 22. The woman was identified because she had been at the store’s pharmacy earlier.

A 50-year-old Brown Deer man was cited for disorderly conduct/domestic violence related, after a child called police reporting his mother and father were fighting Dec. 22.

5A 33-year-old Glendale man was cited for OWI after driving his car into a ditch at North Green Bay and West Bradley roads at 10 p.m. Dec. 23. His preliminary BAC was 0.181.

6A computer, jacket and prescriptions valued at more than $600 were taken from a car in the 6300 block of West Brown Deer Road between 4:50 and 6 p.m. Dec. 23.

7Electronics were taken from the 4300 block of West Dean Road on Dec. 23 or 24. A door was kicked in to gain entry.

8A 28-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for shoplifting after taking $30 of hygiene items at Family Dollar, 6554 W. Brown Deer Road, at 11:40 a.m. Dec. 25. The man fled but was found hiding under a table at Family Table, 6598 W. Brown Deer Road.

A 25-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for disorderly conduct while armed/domestic violence related after pointing a gun at a man the evening of Dec. 25.

9Charges have been referred to the DA on a 33-year-old Milwaukee woman for disorderly conduct, recklessly endangering safety, fleeing an officer and hit-and-run at McDonald’s, 9120 N. Green Bay Road, at 5:15 p.m. Dec. 26. A report said the woman had come to the store, where her child worked, to “assault the manager.” She and others drove off and the pursuit was terminated. Milwaukee police found their car in the 2700 block of North 24th Place.


A resident reported fraudulent transactions of more than $1,000 in her checking account Dec. 12 and 14. The checks/withdrawals were made out to various companies, including Walmart, Pick ‘n Save and Target.

10A 57-year-old Mequon man was cited for OWI after a witness found him sitting in his car with the engine running and lights on in the 8700 block of North Port Washington Road at 12:24 a.m. Dec. 22. When approached by an officer, the man appeared “dazed and startled.” There was a strong odor of alcohol in the car and the man slurred his words. He failed field sobriety tests and had a preliminary BAC of 0.156.

A 36-year-old Fox Point man was cited for battery after a woman reported the man had slapped her in the face in front of two children about 9 a.m. Dec. 31. The man admitted hitting the woman.


11Three wireless Beats headphones valued at $300 were taken from a display at Apple Store, 5715 N. Centerpark Way, about 6:30 p.m. Dec. 10.

12A 25-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for shoplifting after taking $28 of food items at Pick ‘n Save, 1735 W. Silver Spring Drive, at 3 p.m. Dec. 20. The man, who was intoxicated, said he was entitled to the food and it wasn’t wrong to take it.

13A man was seen taking four cartons of cigarettes valued at $304 and exiting Walgreens, 5400 N. Port Washington Road, at 8:25 p.m. Dec. 20.

14Two males armed with handguns, wearing dark clothing and masks, jumped over the front counter and took money from the register at La Quinta, 5423 N. Port Washington Road, at 1:39 a.m. Dec. 21.

15The following Milwaukee people were cited for shoplifting at Kohl’s, 5650 N. Bayshore Drive: A 25-year-old woman took Nike pants and shirts valued at $74 on Dec. 21; Two women, 26 and 30, one wanted on two warrants, took $377 of children’s clothing Dec. 23; A 29-year-old man took shoes valued at $32 on Dec. 26. After he was stopped, the man said he didn’t mean to take the shoes because he had money to pay for them.

A resident reported being the victim of a fraud after purchasing tickets for the Milwaukee Bucks-Cleveland Cavaliers game for $250 over Craigslist that turned out to be worthless Dec. 22. He met the seller, who showed him a receipt that also turned out to be fraudulent.

16A man reported leaving his wallet with about $300 in his room after checking out at Motel 6, 5485 N. Port Washington Road, at 11 a.m. Dec. 22. The wallet was turned in by housekeeping but the money was gone.

17An employee reported that while she was working, someone took her Samsung Galaxy 4 phone valued at $400 at Mongolian Grill, 598 W. Northshore Drive, at 9 p.m. Dec. 23.

18A 46-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for her second OWI after driving into a front yard in the 5400 block of North Bethmaur Lane at 11:36 p.m. Dec. 23. The woman, who said she had one glass of wine, was taken for a blood draw.

19A 21-year-old Cudahy man, an employee, was cited for theft after taking $295 from his cash register and walking out of Applebee’s, 5664 N. Port Washington Road, at 10 p.m. Dec. 24.

20Numerous electronics were taken during a burglary in the 5300 block of North Edgewater Lane between 1 p.m. Dec. 25 and 3:30 p.m. Dec. 26. A front door had been forced open to gain entry.

21A 38-year-old Greenfield man was cited for shoplifting after taking items valued at $95 at Bath and Body Works, 5698 N. Bayshore Drive, at 3:50 p.m. Dec. 26.

22Packages were taken from the 2700 and 2800 blocks of East Menlo Boulevard on Dec. 21 or 22.

23A burglary was reported in the 4500 block of North Woodburn Street at 5 p.m. Dec. 22. The front door had been broken open. When the incident happened was not known or if anything was taken.

24A 45-year-old man and a 46-year-old woman, both of Shorewood, were to be mailed citations for disorderly conduct after a report of a “loud disturbance” in the 1100 block of East Kensington Boulevard at 4:24 a.m. Dec. 23.

25Meat and alcohol valued at $372 was taken from Metro Market, 4075 N. Oakland Ave., about 1 p.m. Dec. 26. The suspect fled with the items.


26About $300 in coins were taken from the air compressor machine at Amstar, 303 East Hampton Road, about 12:15 a.m. Dec. 21 and reported Dec. 23. A male driving a Ford Escape with dealer plates was seen on video breaking into the machine and taking the coins.

27A resident reported seeing four teenage boys, one who had a gun he pointed at another boy, in the 5700 block of North Lydell Avenue about 2:30 p.m. Dec. 22. Police found the boys who were playing with an air soft gun. They were turned over to their parents.

A resident reported a call from a man saying he was a county deputy and her grandson was being held after drugs were found in his car and she needed to send $4,000 for bail Dec. 23. She purchased $4,000 of gift cards at Best Buy and returned home and found her grandson there. No money was lost.

28A 50-year-old Glendale woman was cited for OWI after failing to stop and causing an accident at North Hollywood Avenue and East Hampton Road at 6:15 p.m. Dec. 24. Her BAC was 0.32.

29Two males wearing hooded sweatshirts were seen walking up a drive and then fleeing when they saw the resident in the 5100 block of North Woodburn Street at 3:20 p.m. Dec. 26. The males drove off in a silver Nissan with no plates.

30A car was entered but nothing taken in the 4900 block of North Ardmore Avenue before 5 p.m. Dec. 26.

31Candy cane lights valued at $40 were taken from a front yard in the 2000 block of East Glendale Avenue between 5 and 9 p.m. Dec. 27.

A resident reported fraudulent charges to “obtain goods and services in the United Kingdom” to her Health Savings Account on Dec. 28.

32A 50-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for disorderly conduct and removed from a Milwaukee County bus in front of the police station, 5300 N. Marlborough Drive, at 10:38 p.m. Dec. 28.
