1A basement window was kicked in but entry not gained in the 9300 block of North 60th Street sometime Nov. 30 to Dec. 4. Damage was $50.

2A 52-year-old Brown Deer woman was cited for her second OWI after rear-ending a car causing a three-car accident at North 51st Street and West Brown Deer Road at 5 pm. Dec. 1. She was taken for a blood draw.

3The following people were cited, some for shoplifting, at Walmart, 6300 W. Brown Deer Road: A 32-year-old Milwaukee woman took $40 of housewares and then attempted to return the items for cash Dec. 1: A 44-year-old Milwaukee man, after stopped for taking bed sheets, was also cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and two warrants and his friend, a 46-year-old Milwaukee man, for possession of crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia Dec. 6; A 23-year-old Homewood, Illinois, woman, who was also cited for resisting an officer, took DVDs and alcohol valued at $260 Dec. 7.

4A male fled with 30 packs of cigarettes valued at $328 at Walgreens, 6020 W. Brown Deer Road, at 5:17 p.m. Dec. 2. He was in the checkout lane and when asked to show an ID he “got angry” and fled the store driving off in a Nissan.

5A 22-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for possession of marijuana and his passenger, a 16-year-old Milwaukee boy, on a warrant after a traffic stop in the 6000 block of West Brown Deer Road at 4 pm. Dec. 3.

6A 17-year-old boy was cited for possession of tobacco after he refused to leave a friend’s home in the 4300 block of West Bradley Road at 5:13 a.m. Dec. 4.

7A purse was taken from a cart while the owner shopped Dec. 4 and two women fled with infant clothing and tennis shoes at Burlington, 9040 N. Green Bay Road, on Dec. 6.

8A package with an Xbox Game system valued at $398 was delivered Nov. 29 and reported taken from the 9400 block of North 49th Street on Dec. 5.

9A 25-year-old Grafton man was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia, obstruction and three warrants in the 6300 block of West Brown Deer Road Dec. 6. The man had spoons and glass pipes with residue, a tourniquet and other paraphernalia.

A 27-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for disorderly conduct/domestic violence related after he attacked a woman, pushing her, Dec. 7.

A resident reported being the victim of a mystery shopper scam Dec. 8. She was sent a check for $3,565, told to cash it, keep $165 and send the rest, $3,400, via money grams to two people in Cyprus. She did that and then found out the check was worthless.

10A 33-year-old Chicago man was cited for possession of marijuana after a call regarding a domestic event in the 7000 block of North Port Washington Road at 9:20 p.m. Nov. 26.

11Armani sunglasses valued at $320 and a $750 laptop were taken from an employee’s car at Midas Muffler, 6044 N. Port Washington Road, sometime Nov. 26. A window was broken to gain entry.

12Used game systems valued at more than $300 were taken from Game Stop, 5660 N. Port Washington Road, before 4:30 a.m. Nov. 28. The front door was broken to gain entry.

13An iPhone 6 valued at $700 was taken from a girl’s locker at Nicolet High School, 6701 N. Jean Nicolet Road, on Nov. 22 and reported to police Nov. 28.

14Four tires and rims valued at $4,604 were taken from a car at Infinity North Shore, 6030 N. Green Bay Avenue, on Nov. 28 or 29.

15Two homes were broken into and cash and jewelry taken from one and video game systems from the other in the 2000 block of West Silver Spring Drive during the day Nov. 29. There were signs of forced entry at each home.

A resident reported a pop-up appeared on her computer saying she had a virus and to get rid of it she had to pay a fee and to forward her credit card information Nov. 29. That information was not sent.

A resident reported a call from “his sister” in the Dominican Republic, who had been in a car accident and needed money Nov. 29. He sent $853 via a money gram at CVS Pharmacy and then received another call, this one from “a police officer” saying his sister had been arrested for OWI and needed more money. He went back to CVS and an employee said this might be a scam and no more money was sent.

16Items valued at more than $400, including fragrances and body cream, were taken from a display at Bath and Body Works, 5698 N. Bayshore Drive, about 12:45 p.m. Nov. 30. A man and woman grabbed the items and fled in a white Durango.

A resident reported a call from his second cousin, who was in trouble out of state and needed money, Dec. 1. The resident sent $1,950 via a money gram and then called his cousin, who was not in trouble.

17The following shoplifting incidents were reported at Victoria’s Secret, 5695 N. Centerpark Way: Three Milwaukee people who were “shopping” together were cited: a 32-year-man for shoplifting perfume and intimate apparel valued at $490, a 29-year-old man for disorderly conduct and a warrant and a 38-year-old woman for trespassing Dec. 1; Two women, about 20 and 50, fled after taking clothing valued at $200 Dec. 1; A 21-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited after hiding perfume and a gift set valued at more than $100 in a stroller and fled the store but was stopped Dec. 4.

18Two 2017 Silverados valued at $50,000 each were taken from Andrew Chevrolet, 1500 W. Silver Spring Drive, sometime after Nov. 1 and reported Dec. 1. Both cars were found Dec. 1, one in Kenosha where a 32-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for driving a stolen car, and the other found in Milwaukee stripped of its engine, seats and tires.

19A 23-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for possession of 0.3 grams of marijuana and a 25-year-old Milwaukee man on a warrant after they were found in a damaged car without plates in the 6700 block of North Port Washington Road at 10:27 a.m. Dec. 2.

20The following shoplifting incidents were reported at Kohl’s, 5650 N. Port Washington Road: A 24-year Sheboygan woman and a 23-year-old Kohler woman were cited after taking hosiery and lingerie valued at $490 Dec. 2; A 30-year-old Milwaukee woman put perfume and playwear valued at $46 in a stroller and when stopped, said she forgot she put the items there Dec. 2.

21A man grabbed four boxes of cigarettes valued at $321 and fled Walgreens, 5400 N. Port Washington Road, at 6 p.m. Dec. 2.

22Various papers were taken from an unlocked car in an underground garage in the 200 block of West Coventry Court on Dec. 2 or 3.


23A 31-year-old Cross Plains woman was cited for OWI, possession of marijuana and warned for speeding 66 mph in a 45 mph zone in the 1000 block of West Brown Deer Road at 2:13 a.m. Dec. 3. After she was stopped, the woman told police, “I might have a little pot in the car,” and a baggie holding 5 grams was found in the center console. She failed field sobriety tests and had a BAC of 0.20.


A 19-year-old Shorewood woman was cited for battery/domestic violence related after she hit a female relative in the face breaking her nose at 6:10 p.m. Dec. 1.

24A 28-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for OWI and endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon after failing to stop at a sign in the 4500 block of North Oakland Avenue at 2:42 a.m. Dec. 3. The man had a loaded gun in the car.

25A number of electronic items valued at more than $3,000 and a 2014 Dodge Charger were taken from the 4100 block of North Morris Boulevard the afternoon or evening of Dec. 3. The car was recovered in the 3200 block of North 24th Street at 10:30 p.m. Dec. 4.

26A 43-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for shoplifting after taking food valued at $70 at Metro Market, 4075 N. Oakland Ave., at 7:15 a.m. Dec. 4.

27A 14-year-old Shorewood boy and a 13-year-old New Berlin boy were cited Dec. 5 for possession of tobacco and interference with a fire alarm system at Shorewood High School, 1701 E. Capitol Drive, on Nov. 30. The boys, who were smoking e-cigarettes, blew smoke into a fire alarm at the school, setting off that alarm. Two other Shorewood boys, 13 and 14, were cited for being party to that incident.

28Two Milwaukee men, 19 and 20, were cited for theft of a Christmas tree and wreath from the Ideal Christmas Tree lot at Oakland and Edgewood avenues at 7:09 a.m. Dec. 6.

29A 40-year-old Shorewood man was cited for his second possession of marijuana along with possession of drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct after a report of a family problem in the 1700 block of East Menlo Boulevard at 1:17 a.m. Dec. 8. The man had 1.9 grams of marijuana and a glass pipe.


A resident reported an unauthorized $1,000 cash withdrawal on his Discover Card in Evergreen I2, Nov. 12 and reported Dec. 8. Two other residents reported their IDs had been used in attempts to open credit cards Dec. 5 and 8.

30A 29-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia, a crack cocaine pipe, after she was seen walking in the middle of the 1500 block of East Hampton Road at 9:38 p.m. Dec. 5. Her parole agent was notified.

A resident reported a call saying his wife was being held at the Safety Building at 7 pm. Dec. 6. The call was a scam and the resident requested extra watch on his home.

31A car’s back window was broken, the cause not known, in the 1600 block of East Cumberland Boulevard overnight Dec. 7 or 8. Nothing was taken.

32A 46-year-old Fox Point woman was cited for OWI after she was seen driving off the road in the 1400 block of East Henry Clay Street and was stopped in the 5200 block of North Lake Drive at 2:49 a.m. Dec. 11. Her BAC was 0.20.

33A Specialized Sirrus bicycle taken from the west bike rack at Whitefish Bay Middle School, 1144 E. Henry Clay St., between 7:15 and 8:40 p.m. Dec. 9 was recovered at Starbucks, 302 E. Silver Spring Drive, at 11 p.m.
