1A woman was cited for OWI and failure to control her car after she hit a car parked on the street in the 1100 block of East Hermitage Road at 7:32 p.m. Nov. 24. The woman, when asked, said she had two glasses of wine a few hours before. Her BAC was 0.15.

BROWN DEER

2A 15-year-old Brown Deer girl was cited for attempted theft after she was reported going through a locker in the boys’ locker room at Brown Deer Middle High School, 8060 N. 60th St., about 9 a.m. Nov. 18.

3A 26-year-old West Allis man was cited for OWI after a report of a disabled car in the 8700 block of North Green Bay Road at 12:27 a.m. Nov. 19.

4A 37-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for her second OWI and a warrant in the 5700 block of West Bradley Road at 4:12 a.m. Nov. 19. She was taken for a blood draw.

5Numerous cell phones and tablets, value not available, were taken during a burglary at Sprint, 5500 W. Brown Deer Road, on Nov. 18 or 19. The front door glass was shattered to gain entry.

6A 24-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for driving without a valid license and disorderly conduct after he threatened employees because of “slow service” and then blocked and banged on the drive-thru window at Wendy’s, 9133 N. Deerwood Drive, at 9:30 p.m. Nov. 19. He drove off but was stopped.

7Two Milwaukee people were cited for shoplifting at Walmart, 6300 W. Brown Deer Road, on Nov. 20: A 57-year-old man took baby formula and socks valued at $350; A 25-year-old woman changed prices on two tablets valued at $200 and gave a false name. The cashier knew the correct price and reported her to security.

8Police were called to do a welfare check after a male was seen yelling and waving his arms in the 6000 block of West Dean Road at 3:15 p.m. Nov. 20. The male was fine; just listening and dancing to music.

9A 36-year-old Brown Deer woman was cited for her second OWI and two warrants in the 4300 block of West Bradley Road at 4:09 a.m. Nov. 22. She was taken for a blood draw.

10A 26-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for possession of 2.42 grams of marijuana, driving with a suspended license and a warrant and a 90-year-old Brown Deer woman for failure to yield after she hit his car at North Teutonia Avenue and West Dean Road at 10:35 a.m. Nov. 22.

11A person was seen taking video cameras valued at $120 and fleeing Family Dollar, 6554 W. Brown Deer Road, at 11:15 a.m. Nov. 22.

A resident asked for assistance after she said her husband, “an international oil driller” working in Ghana, had sent her $3.5 million that was being held at O’Hare Airport and she must send $8,500 in order to get the money. She had previously wired $20,000 to her husband, a man whom she had never met but only talked with over Skype. She was told this was a scam.

12A 19-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for disorderly conduct after he pulled a fire alarm and then when fire fighters and police arrived, he yelled at them in the 4100 block of West Schroeder Drive at 8:40 p.m. Nov. 22.

FOX POINT

13A 22-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for possession of marijuana, driving with a suspended license, warned for non-registration and a warrant in the 7600 block of North Port Washington Road at 9:02 a.m. Nov. 21. The car smelled of marijuana and the man admitted smoking it about an hour before. He also admitted not having a driver’s license and that the plates on the car “were old.” After he was taken into custody for the warrant, the car was searched and police found three baggies with 1.5 grams of marijuana.

GLENDALE 

14Four Milwaukee women, 18 and 19, were cited Nov. 15 for shoplifting and one, the driver, for second-degree recklessly endangering safety after fleeing Victoria’s Secret, 5695 N. Centerpark Way, at 5:55 p.m. Nov. 10. The women were recognized after they were caught on surveillance video as having shoplifted at that store at least three other times in the last two months, reportedly taking items valued at more than $3,000.

15A male and female were seen taking headphones valued at $300 from Apple Store, 5715 N. Bayshore Drive, about 7 p.m. Nov. 14.

16A $500 Dell Tablet was taken from an unlocked office at a company in the 2200 block of West Florist Avenue on Nov. 14.

17A 45-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for a felon in possession of a gun and a probation warrant after he was stopped for that warrant in the 1800 block of West Silver Spring Drive at 2 a.m. Nov. 15. A loaded Glock handgun was found in the car.

18A 2014 Jeep Liberty valued at $10,000 was taken without keys from the 2200 block of West Good Hope Road on Nov. 14 or 15.

19An Xbox and controller valued at $499 was taken from an office in the 5200 block of North Ironwood Road on Nov. 14 or 15.

A resident reported that someone used his identity to withdraw money from a relative’s bank account and also to apply for and receive numerous credit cards Nov. 15. The money withdrawn was returned and all credit cards cancelled.

20A 38-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for his second OWI and driving with a revoked license after a report of a man slumped over in a car in the 5500 block of North Dexter Avenue at 6:10 p.m. Nov. 15. As police arrived, the man drove off but was stopped. He admitted having “two or three beers.” He failed filed sobriety tests and had a BAC of 0.26.

21A 22-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for possession of 0.25 grams of marijuana after he was reported smoking the drug outside a bar in the 5600 block of North Port Washington Road at 10:30 p.m. Nov. 15. The man admitted smoking the drug saying he was trying to relax after an argument with his girlfriend.

22A 16-year-old Glendale boy was cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in a classroom at Nicolet High School, 6701 N. Jean Nicolet Road, at 10:40 a.m. Nov. 16.

The boy had 0.95 grams of marijuana, a pipe with residue and two lighters.

23A wallet and contents, including $300 cash, were taken from a purse left unattended in a shopping cart at Pick ‘n Save, 6969 N. Port Washington Road, between 1:15 and 2 p.m. Nov. 16.

24A 19-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for shoplifting a pair of athletic shoes valued at $65 at Kohl’s, 5650 N. Bayshore Drive, at 3:30 p.m. Nov. 18. The man was wearing the shoes but said he wanted to pay for them and thought he was walking into the fitting room instead of the checkout area.

25A 27-year-old Mukwonago man was cited for possession of cocaine, heroin and drug paraphernalia and theft of a $50 jacket at Kohl’s, 5650 N. Bayshore Drive, at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 18. The man was found with the drugs, a number of syringes, a tie off and other paraphernalia.

26An Apple MacBook and a Coach purse valued at $1,700 and checks were taken from a car outside a bar/restaurant in the 6100 block of North Green Bay Avenue between 5 and 7 p.m. Nov. 18. The items were left in plain sight in the car’s front seat. A window was broken to gain entry.

27A 20-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for carrying a concealed weapon after making an illegal U-turn in the 5400 block of North Port Washington Road at 1:30 a.m. Nov. 20. The man had a loaded Taurus handgun in the glove box.

28Three monitors and three microphones valued at $1,800 were taken from a storage area at a hotel in the 7000 block of North Port Washington Road between Nov. 6 and 13 and reported Nov. 20.

29An 18-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for shoplifting children’s clothing and a wallet valued at $262 at Boston Store, 5701 N. Lydell Ave., at 11:20 a.m. Nov. 18.

30A book bag and purse were taken from a car in the 5800 block of North Bayshore Drive at 2 p.m. Nov. 18. The victim saw a male in her car who fled with the items.

31A 29-year-old Milwaukee woman and a 28-year-old New York man were cited for forgery/ID theft after attempting to open a bank account using stolen identification and then asking for debit cards at Educator’s Credit Union, 7139 N. Port Washington Road, at 3:25 p.m. Nov. 18.

SHOREWOOD         

32Clothing items and cash valued at about $1,000 were taken from Harley’s, 3565 N. Oakland Ave., between 5:30 p.m. Nov. 12 and 9 a.m. Nov. 14. A locked interior door was forced open to gain entry.

33Items valued at $1,000 were taken from a residence in the 1800 block of East Olive Street between 11:45 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. Nov. 14. There was no sign of forced entry.

34A 24-year-old Union Grove woman was cited for her second OWI after a report of a woman possibly sleeping in her car in the 1500 block of East Capitol Drive at 7:48 a.m. Nov. 17. She was taken for a blood draw.

35A strong-armed robbery was reported after a male hit a female in the face and took her purse in the 3500 block of North Maryland Avenue at 10:30 p.m. Nov. 17.

36A wallet was taken at gun point from a DPW employee in the alley behind the 1400 block of East Elmdale Court about 11 a.m. Nov. 18.

37Two pairs of sunglasses were taken from an unlocked car in the 2600 block of East Newton Avenue on Nov. 18 or 19.

38A 2010 Hyundai left running was taken from the 3500 block of North Prospect Avenue about 2:50 p.m. Nov. 19.

39A 46-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for theft of a credit card and a warrant after attempting to use that card in the 4000 block of North Oakland Avenue at noon Nov. 20.

40A car taken from the 1600 block of East River Part Court between Nov. 5 and Nov. 21 was recovered in the 700 block of West Brown Street on Nov. 21. A window was broken and the steering column damaged.

41Four cars were entered but nothing taken in the 2700 block of East Newton Avenue, the 3500 block of North Morris Boulevard and the 3600 block of North Hackett Avenue on Nov. 21 or 22.

42Two men, 18 and 19, and a 19-year-old woman, all from Milwaukee, were cited for possession of marijuana and violation of park hours after they were found in a car at Estabrook Park, 4500 Estabrook Parkway, at 11:35 p.m. Nov. 22.

WHITEFISH BAY

43The rear window of a Lexus SUV was broken by a “large rock” but nothing taken in the 5800 block of North Maitland Court between 7 and 9:45 p.m. Nov. 21.

44Two packages, one holding a book and the other makeup, each valued between $5 and $10, were taken from the 900 block of East Henry Clay Street sometime Nov. 12 to 22.

45A 14-year-old Milwaukee boy was mailed a citation for loitering after he was found on school property after hours against school rules at Whitefish Bay High School, 1200 E. Fairmount Ave., about 3:45 p.m. Nov. 21.

46A 55-year-old West Allis man was cited for his second OWI, driving with a revoked license, resisting/obstruction, and a warrant in the 300 block of East Hampton Road at 2:29 a.m. Nov. 24. After police stopped the man, he sped away going south on I-43 but was stopped at West Capitol Drive. His preliminary BAC was 0.214 and he was taken for a blood draw.

47A 24-year-old Milwaukee man and a 30-year-old West Allis woman were cited for theft of liquor and the woman also for possession of drug paraphernalia and a warrant after they were seen taking liquor at CVS Pharmacy, 240 E. Hampton Road, at 11:30 a.m. Nov. 25. They drove away but were stopped and the liquor recovered.

48A 52-year-old Whitefish Bay woman was cited for OWI and expired registration after a report of a reckless driver in the 300 block of East Hampton Road at 7:37 p.m. Nov. 25. Her BAC was 0.22.

49An 18-year-old Glendale woman was cited for inattentive driving after she hit a parked car with airbags deployed on East Devon Street at North Kent Avenue at 11:42 pm. Nov. 25. The woman admitted she had been texting while driving.

50Packages delivered by UPS and Fed Ex were reported taken from the 5500 block of North Bay Ridge Avenue, the 5100 block of North Kent Avenue, the 5400 block of North Berkeley Boulevard and the 5000 block of North Woodburn Street during the day Nov. 26. Some of these stolen packages and/or packaging were found discarded in the 1000 block of East Fairmount Avenue, the 5800 block of North Port Washington Road and the 3000 block of North Stowell Avenue.

51A car window was smashed and a laptop taken from the 100 block of West Silver Spring Drive between 9:30 and 11 p.m. Nov. 26.

52Items were reported taken including jewelry during a burglary in the 5100 block of North Santa Monica Boulevard sometime Nov. 23 to 27. A side door was forced open to gain entry.
