BROWN DEER

1A 14-year-old Brown Deer girl, described as “out of control,” was cited for disorderly conduct after she swore at other students and staff at Brown Deer Middle High School, 8060 N. 60th St., at 12:30 p.m. Nov. 4.

2A 20-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for shoplifting after removing tags and hiding $100 of clothing in her own clothing at Burlington, 9040 N. Green Bay Road, at 5:22 p.m. Nov. 4.

3A 60-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for OWI and refusal to take a breath test after she crashed her car in the 9500 block of North Green Bay Road at 7:45 p.m. Nov. 4.

4A 31-year-old Menomonee Falls man was cited for his second OWI and bail jumping after stopped for speeding in the 6400 block of West Brown Deer Road at 10 p.m. Nov. 4.

5A 15-year-old Milwaukee boy was cited for trespassing at the YMCA, 9250 N. Green Bay Road, at 6:15 p.m. Nov. 5. The boy, who said he just wanted to play basketball, also opened a door to let in a friend.

6A 17-year-old Milwaukee boy was cited for driving a stolen car, receiving stolen property, resisting arrest, theft and warrants in the 9000 block of North Green Bay Road at 10:15 a.m. Nov. 6. The boy was driving a car stolen from Milwaukee and fled on foot but was stopped.

7A 36-year-old Mequon woman and two Milwaukee women, 22 and 30, were to be mailed citations for disorderly conduct after yelling loudly at each other at the YMCA, 9250 N. Green Bay Road, at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 6. The 30-year-old woman also had a warrant.

8Two unlocked cars were entered and rummaged through but only a candy bar taken in the 8200 block of North 46th Street early evening Nov. 6.

9A 15-year-old Milwaukee boy was cited for speeding, running a red light and fleeing an officer beginning in the 3800 block of West Brown Deer Road the evening of Nov. 6. The boy sped away going over 70 mph but was stopped by Bayside police after abandoning the car, stolen out of Milwaukee, at Brown Deer Road and I-43.

10A 48-year-old New Berlin man was cited for OWI after he drove over a curb and hit a tree in the 4100 block of West Schroeder Drive at 10:41 p.m. Nov. 6. The man was treated at a hospital.

11Three 14-year-old Brown Deer boys were cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after a report of them smoking marijuana in the parking lot at Brown Deer Middle High School, 8060 N. 60th St., at 8:43 a.m. Nov. 8. The boys had marijuana, a glass pipe and a plastic bottle pipe.

12A 13-year-old Brown Deer boy was cited for theft after he took another student’s cell phone and damaged it at Brown Deer Middle High School, 8060 N. 60th St., Nov. 9.

13A 25-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for shoplifting men’s clothing, a backpack and a comforter valued at $131 at Family Dollar, 6554 W. Brown Deer Road, at 5:55 p.m. Nov. 9.

14A 28-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for first-degree recklessly endangering safety while armed after she attempted to stab another woman with a “kitchen knife” at Walmart, 6300 W. Brown Deer Road, at 7:40 p.m. Nov. 9. A report said she attempted to stab the woman “seven times.”

FOX POINT

15An aerator/leveler valued at $300 was taken from a back yard in the 8100 block of North Lake Drive over the last two plus weeks and reported Nov. 1.

A resident reported fraudulent charges on her credit card, still in her possession, of $183 at a Bed Bath and Beyond store in Chicago on Nov. 5 and reported Nov. 7.

16A 44-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for OWI and refusal to take a breath test after he drove to the police station to be interviewed regarding another case, 7300 N. Santa Monica Blvd., at 8 a.m. Nov. 9. The man who was seen on video driving into the lot, had bloodshot eyes and smelled of alcohol His preliminary BAC was 0.20.

GLENDALE 

17A 16-year-old Milwaukee girl was cited for theft from her employer, Pick ‘n Save, 1735 W. Silver Spring Drive, at 7:55 p.m. Oct. 31. The girl did not ring up items but bagged them for a friend, telling police this was a “sweet-hearting” theft – giving items to friends.

18Thirty-nine Dell laptops valued at $855 each and 29 Dell Optiflex desk tops valued at $599 each were taken from an unsecured area at St. Mary’s Nursing School, 4425 N. Port Washington Road, between Nov. 2 and 10.

19An officer stopped to help a man who was filling his gas tank in the 800 block of West

Silver Spring Drive at 11:40 a.m. Nov. 3. As the officer approached, the man got back in the car and sped away. The car, a Honda stolen from Milwaukee, was later found abandoned in the 4600 block of North 19th Place.

20The following Milwaukee people were cited for shoplifting incidents were reported at Kohl’s, 5650 N. Bayshore Drive: A 23-year-old man, who hid sweat pants and T-shirts valued at $90 under his own clothes and fled in his car, was also cited for possession of drug paraphernalia at noon Nov. 3; A 14-year-old girl put junior clothing valued at $82 in her purse at 1:40 p.m. Nov. 3. When stopped, she admitted what she did was wrong; A 26-year-old woman put cosmetics and children’s clothing valued at $174 in her purse at 2:40 p.m. Nov. 4. The woman was also cited for trespassing since she’d been banned for life in 2006 for previous thefts.

21The following incidents were reported at Victoria’s Secret, 5695 N. Centerpark Way: A 30-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for disorderly conduct and a warrant at 2 p.m. Nov. 3; A woman grabbed 20 items valued at more than $800 and fled in a Toyota at 2:30 p.m. Nov. 6.

22A 46-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for shoplifting after taking items valued at $321 and fleeing Sur La Table, 5794 N. Centerpark Way, at 7 p.m. Nov. 3. An employee followed the woman, who dropped the items outside the store.

23Two women, 26 and 27, and a 28-year-old man, all of Milwaukee, and a 22-year-old Glendale woman were cited for disorderly conduct after fighting and knocking over chairs and tables and throwing plastic cups in the bar area of Applebee’s, 5664 N. Port Washington Road, at 10:15 p.m. Nov. 3. The fight, caught on surveillance video, reportedly began when two of the women made comments about the man’s wife.

24Two Glendale men, 21 and 24, were cited for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after causing a disturbance at Silver Spring House, 6655 N. Green Bay Ave., at 11 p.m. Nov. 3. The men also struggled with police with one kicking the window of a squad car.

25A 54-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for shoplifting and bail jumping after filling a cart with 70 items valued at $488 and walking out of Pick ‘n Save, 6969 N. Port Washington Road, at 3:30 p.m. Nov. 5. The woman was out on bail for theft.

26An 18-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for driving a stolen car, possession of 8.31 grams of marijuana and warrants after he and his passengers fled a car stolen out of Milwaukee near the 5400 block of North Port Washington at 9:22 a.m. Nov. 6. He and his three male passengers, 16 and 17 of Milwaukee, were also cited for resisting arrest.

27A 17-year-old Glendale boy was cited for possession of marijuana with intent to deliver at Nicolet High School, 6701 N. Jean Nicolet Road, at 7:36 a.m. Nov. 7. The boy was found with 14 baggies filled with a total of 13.5 grams of marijuana in his backpack. He also had more than $100.

28A 21-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for burglary after taking a cash register drawer from Kaul Mart, 209 W. Silver Spring Drive, at 3:34 a.m. Nov. 9. A resident had called police after hearing a loud crash. Police investigated and found the station’s front door glass shattered and then found the man carrying the drawer.

SHOREWOOD 

29A 22-year-old woman and her mother, 59, of Milwaukee, were cited Nov. 2 for theft after taking items valued at $500 from Re-Threads, 1920 E. Capitol Drive, early evening Oct. 20. The 22-year-old woman, an employee, had quit her job and Oct. 20 was her last day. Surveillance video showed that after closing the store, the daughter let her mother in and then they took the items.

30Tools and other items valued at $150 were taken from an unlocked car in the 3800 block of North Farwell Avenue Oct. 29 or 30.

31Two unlocked cars were rummaged through but nothing taken, one in the 2500 block of East Newton Avenue on Nov. 5 and one in the 2400 block of East Menlo Boulevard on Nov. 6 or 7.

32An attempted burglary was reported when a screen was found cut in the 1800 block of East Marion Street on Nov. 6. Entry was not gained.

33A 24-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for shoplifting, trespassing and possession of drug paraphernalia after taking a Blue Tooth Speaker valued at $59 at Walgreens, 4035 N. Oakland Ave., at 11:13 p.m. Nov. 1. The man, who had two prior arrests for shoplifting and was banned from the store, had a crack pipe.

34Items were taken from an unlocked car in the 2300 block of East Beverly Road on Nov. 8 or 9.

35An armed robbery was reported in the 1600 block of East River Park Court about 3:50 a.m. Nov. 11. A resident was approached by a male wearing dark clothing and a hoodie who pointed a silver pistol at the resident and demanded money and then fled in a van.

WHITEFISH BAY

36A 27-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for theft after he was found carrying a life guard floatation ring taken from Big Bay Park, 5000 N. Palisades Road, at 12:45 a.m. Nov. 6.

A resident reported receiving a threatening phone call on his new cell phone Nov. 6. The caller swore and then asked the resident if he wanted to buy drugs.

37Items valued at more than $2,000, including a 42-inch TV, a laptop and four pairs of Nike Air Jordans, were reported taken in the 800 block of East Henry Clay Street during the day Nov. 7. There was forced entry to the apartment’s rear door.

A resident reported his ID had been used to open accounts with US Cellular and Verizon Wireless on Nov. 8.

38A student was turned over to a parent after he was found “clearly under the influence of marijuana” at Whitefish Bay High School, 1200 E. Fairmount Ave., at 2 p.m. Nov. 8.

39Jewelry, including gold necklaces, and unopened designer perfume boxes, were taken from the 4800 block of North Santa Monica Boulevard between 9:30 a.m. and 9:20 p.m. Nov. 8. Forced entry was found on the rear door.

40A 26-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for carrying a concealed weapon, a stun gun, after she refused to exit a car in the 5200 block of North Berkeley Boulevard at 10:45 p.m. Nov. 8.

41Police responded to an open door and “noises” inside a residence in the 4700 block of North Cramer Street at noon Nov. 11. A large German Shepard was inside the residence and all appeared “in order.” The door was secured.
