BAYSIDE

1 A male was cited for possession of marijuana after the car he was in was stopped for an illegal U-turn in the 500 block of West Brown Deer Road at 10 p.m. Aug. 18. There was a marijuana odor in the car and a baggie with 2.5 grams of the drug was found next to where he was sitting.

A resident reported fraudulent use of his identity including his social security number to apply for a credit card Aug. 20. The card was cancelled and there was no financial loss.

BROWN DEER

2 Two Milwaukee men, 23 and 24, were cited for possession of marijuana, weight not available, in the 8100 block of North 60th Street at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 10.

3 A $600 iPhone 6S was taken from the basketball court area at the YMCA, 9250 N. Green Bay Road, before 5:45 p.m. Aug. 11.

4 A 1999 Dodge Stratus taken from the 4100 block of West River Lane on Aug. 11 was recovered in the 1800 block of South 36th Street at 7 p.m. Aug. 16.

5 A $300 bicycle was taken from a yard in the 7600 block of North 50th Street at 12:10 a.m. Aug. 11. The theft was caught on video showing a male dressed in what appeared to be nursing scrubs pick up the bike and walk away.

6 A 22-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for possession of marijuana and a 25-year-old Milwaukee woman for disorderly conduct/domestic violence related after a report of the woman hitting the man in the 9000 block of North Green Bay Road at 7:25 p.m. Aug. 11.

7 Two cars were entered but nothing taken in the 5200 block of West Brown Deer Road about 2 a.m. Aug. 12.

8 Sunglasses, the car’s title and other paperwork were taken from a car in the 4300 block of Village Lane before 5 p.m. Aug. 13.

9 A resident reported a nude male was in the backyard taking photos of plants in the 7600 block of North 51st Street at 11:37 a.m. Aug. 14.

10 A 33-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for possession of marijuana and two warrants after police were called to a disturbance at Applebee’s, 9080 N. Green Bay Road, at 10:25 p.m. Aug. 14.

11 A 20-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for theft of a car stereo from Walmart, 6300 W. Brown Deer Road, at 4 p.m. Aug. 15. The man fled the store but was identified and later turned himself in.

12 A laptop was taken from a locked car in the 9400 block of Maura Lane sometime after Aug. 13 and reported Aug. 16. A window was broken to gain entry, causing more than $200 damage.

13 A man was seen taking laundry detergent and cleaning supplies valued at more than $100 and driving off in a dark Jaguar from Family Dollar, 6554 W. Brown Deer Road, at 2:51 p.m. Aug. 16.

14 A tenant moved out of an apartment leaving behind a cat in the 8200 block of North 46th Street Aug. 16. MADACC was called.

15 A boy reported being the victim of an attempted robbery when two males approached him in the 6700 block of West Brown Deer Road at 3:30 p.m. Aug. 16. The boy was able to fight them off and they fled.

A 22-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for damage to property/domestic violence related after breaking the window of a car belonging to a woman and then throwing her cell phone causing damage at 7:23 p.m. Aug. 16.

16 Two TVs and a sound bar valued at $620 were reported taken from the 8300 block of North 63rd Street at 10:30 p.m. Aug. 16.

FOX POINT

17 A number of household items and a pair of reading glasses valued at about $50 were reported taken from the 7200 block of North Beach Drive on Aug. 2. The resident said she had helpers in the home during the time of the theft.

18 A 60-year-old West Milwaukee man was cited for his sixth OWI and warned for suspended registration for failure to pay a parking ticket in the 8600 block of North Port Washington Road at 6:55 p.m. Aug. 12. The man slurred his words, had bloodshot eyes and failed field sobriety tests. He also told police thought he was in West Allis. His BAC was .013.

19 A Briggs and Stratton portable generator valued at $699 was reported taken from a front yard outside a garage in the 100 block of West Calumet Road about 11:45 a.m. Aug. 15. A neighbor reported seeing two men getting out of an older Buick and taking the generator.

GLENDALE 

20 The following are reports of shoplifting at Victoria’s Secret, 5695 N. Centerpark Way: Two sisters, 13 and 15, and another 15-year-old girl of Milwaukee were cited after taking shirts, jewelry and mist valued at $109 at 3 p.m. Aug. 6. One admitted the theft and one was found with 0.04 grams of marijuana; A couple put items valued at about $400 into shopping bags and fled in a car with a stolen plate at 2:30 p.m. Aug. 9.

21 A 24-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for driving a stolen car after leasing a 2016 BMW on June 14 and then not returning it on its due date at Umansky, 5990 N. Green Bay Avenue, on Aug. 9. The woman, found at her home, said she needed the car because hers was being fixed.

22 The following people were cited for shoplifting at Kohl’s, 5650 N. Bayshore Drive: A 34-year-old Plymouth woman, also cited for bail jumping, possession of heroin and a Schedule II narcotic, took 23 items valued at $515 putting some in her purse and some in store bags Aug. 10; Three Milwaukee girls, 13, 14, 16, took ear buds and jewelry valued at $150 into a fitting room, left that room and then attempted to flee Aug. 11; A 48-year-old Milwaukee man took three pairs of women’s shoes valued at $130 Aug 12. He put on one pair, putting his shoes into that shoe box and then put the others in a duffle bag; A 15-year-old Milwaukee girl took $9 of children’s items Aug. 14. A 25-year-old Mississippi man and a 35-year-old Racine man took headphones valued at more than $80. Both were wearing the headphones, one saying he forgot he had tried them on.

23 A 26-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for battery after fighting with another woman over a male in the 6200 block of North Green Bay Avenue at 4:45 p.m. Aug. 10.

24 An 18-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for theft from his employer, Pick ‘n Save, 6969 N. Port Washington Road, on Aug. 10. The man had made fraudulent returns and then kept the money, totaling more than $870. The man admitted the theft, saying he’d taken more than $3,000.

25 A 34-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for OWI after he was stopped for a suspended license in the 100 block of West Silver Spring Drive at 2:37 a.m. Aug. 11. The man said he had three shots of tequila and two beers. His BAC was 0.16.

26 A Milwaukee woman was mailed a citation for shoplifting after taking over $280 of children’s clothing and fleeing Justice, 485 W. Glen Bay Ave., at 11:28 a.m. Aug. 11. She drove off in a car with Arizona plates. That afternoon, she was cited for shoplifting at Mayfair Mall and later identified by a Justice employee.

27 A 32-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for her second OWI, a warrant, suspended registration and speeding 45 mph in a 30 mph zone in the 2400 block of West Silver Spring Drive at 2:13 a.m. Aug. 13. Her BAC was 0.20.

28 Two Trek bicycles and a cordless trimmer valued at about $1,000 were taken from a locked garage in the 5700 block of North Sidney Place on Aug. 12 or 13. A side door had been forced open.

29 A man reported being the victim of a scam after selling his iPad over Craigslist and meeting the “buyer” at Bayshore, 590 W. Northshore Drive, on Aug. 13. The “buyer” gave him $340 and left. It was then the man discovered the bills were worthless -- all stamped with “For Motion Picture Use Only.”

30 A 23-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for obstruction/resisting after she yelled and screamed in the deli section of Pick ‘n Save, 1735 W. Silver Spring Drive, at 3 p.m. Aug. 13. A short time before, she was seen smoking a cigar just outside the entrance and when asked to stop, yelled at an employee, calling her a “(expletive).” She then went into the store, began to scream and refused to leave.

31 A 16-year-old Milwaukee girl was cited for shoplifting, possession of a shielding device, disorderly conduct and battery after taking $114 of Polo Shirts and then fighting with loss prevention employees at Boston Store, 5701 N. Lydell Ave., at 12:20 p.m. Aug. 14. The girl bit the face of one employee and knocked another to the floor.

32 A woman reported an armed robbery as she walked on North Green Bay and West Marne avenues at 5:15 a.m. Aug. 15. As she walked through the tunnel, two men approached her both holding “long guns” demanding her purse, with one saying “(Expletive) get down or I’ll shoot your (expletive.)” They took the purse and contents valued at $150, and drove away.

33 Four tires and rims valued at $1,700 were taken from a 2013 Lincoln MKY at Heiser Ford, 1700 W. Silver Spring Drive, on Aug. 14 or 15.

SHOREWOOD

34 A 21-year-old Brookfield man was cited for disorderly conduct after witnesses reported him making obscene gestures and causing a disturbance in the 3600 block of North Oakland Avenue at 3:30 p.m. Aug. 13. The man fled but was found.

35 A car was entered but nothing taken in the 1400 block of East Elmdale Court overnight Aug. 14 or 15.

36 A hit and run causing damage to a side mirror was reported in the 1700 block of East Kensington Boulevard at 2 p.m. Aug. 17.

37 A 50-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for shoplifting after taking body wash and fleeing Metro Market, 4075 N. Oakland Ave., at 6:25 p.m. Aug. 17.

38 A girl’s Trek bicycle valued at $250 was taken from a garage in the 3500 block of North Cramer Street sometime between July 29 and Aug. 16 and reported Aug. 18.

WHITEFISH BAY

39 A car was entered and $106 taken along with house and car keys in the 5100 block of North Kent Avenue about 12:30 p.m. Aug. 14. In a possible related incident, a purse and contents including a phone was taken from a car in the 4200 block of North Ardmore Avenue at 3 a.m. Aug. 15. The phone was found a few blocks away. The suspects, one male and two females, sped away in a grey Honda Pilot. Later that car was reported on North Lydell Avenue and in the 4600 block of West Fairmount Avenue.

40 A 19-year-old Whitefish Bay man was mailed a citation for open burning after he started an open fire in a driveway in the 4900 block of North Wildwood Avenue at 11 p.m. Aug. 14.

41 The initials “TOA” were sprayed painted on dumpsters behind a business in the 5900 block of North Santa Monica Boulevard and on a sign at Craig Counsel Park, 6300 N. Lydell Ave., on Aug. 15. The same graffiti was reported in and around the village from Aug. 8 to 12.

42 Jewelry and other items, valued at more than $800, were taken from the 5500 block of North Lake Drive between 1 p.m. Aug. 14 and 6:45 a.m. Aug. 15.

43 A car was reported broken into causing $1,000 damage but nothing taken in the 5400 block of North Santa Monica Boulevard on Aug. 15.

44 A computer’s hard drive valued at $200 was taken from a basement in the 500 block of East Beaumont Avenue on Aug. 13 or 14.

45 Four males were warned for disorderly conduct after throwing water balloons from a car, one hitting a male riding a bike, in the 1000 and 1100 blocks of East Henry Clay Street about 10:30 p.m. Aug. 16.

46 An $80 Huffy bike was taken from a garage in the 4800 block of North Santa Monica Boulevard between 1 and 8:20 p.m. Aug. 18.

47 A purse and contents including a phone was taken during a football game at Whitefish Bay High School, 1200 E. Fairmount Ave., between 8 and 10:30 p.m. Aug. 18. The phone was found in the grass on North Marlborough Drive.

48 A 45-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for his second OWI after a report of an erratic driver  in the parking lot of Dominican High School, 120 E. Silver Spring Drive, at 6:20 p.m. Aug. 19. His BAC was 0.29.
