BAYSIDE

1A male was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and two other males and one female were cited for underage drinking after an officer doing foot patrol found them and two others on the beach at Doctor’s Park, 1870 E. Fox Lane, at 11:15 p.m. Aug. 2. They had started a fire and scattered around the fire were open bottles of beer. Also found were a metal grinder and two pipes, all with marijuana residue, in a backpack. Also found were 22.5 grams of marijuana that all denied ownership of. The three who had been drinking had BACs of 0.009 to 0.047.

BROWN DEER

2A 19-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for theft after he fraudulently activated $295 of gift cards from his employer Walmart, 6300 W. Brown Deer Road, on Aug. 6.

3A 53-year-old Brown Deer man was cited for battery/domestic violence related, damage to property and disorderly conduct while armed after a woman reported the man, her boyfriend, “physically abused her and damaged her property” Aug. 6.

4Four men and six women, 18 and 19, of Brown Deer and Milwaukee were cited for underage drinking after a resident called police to report underage drinking in the 8400 block of North 57th Street at 10:30 p.m. Aug. 6.

5Two Dodge Stratus vehicles were taken from parking lots: a 2001 was taken from the 8200 block of North 46th Street between 2 and 7:30 a.m. Aug. 7 and a 2002 from the 4300 block of Village Lane on Aug. 9 or 10.

6A 17-year-old Milwaukee boy was cited for theft of a bicycle taken from the 4400 block of Village Lane the morning of Aug. 7. The boy was found with that bike and cited after a report of him asking for money at World Mart, 4685 W. Bradley Road, at 1:20 p.m. Aug. 7.

7A $399 iPhone 6 and a Samsung Galaxy S6 were reported taken from the lockers of two boys at the YMCA, 9250 N. Green Bay Road, on Aug. 7 and reported Aug. 8. Three similar thefts of phones were reported Aug. 2 but those phones were recovered.

8Two leaf blowers valued at about $600 were taken from a work truck in the 8100 block of North Teutonia Avenue during the day Aug. 8.

9A 38-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for his third OWI and driving with a revoked license, OWI related, after he was stopped for speeding in the 8700 block of North 60th Street at 11:26 p.m. Aug. 8. He was taken for a blood draw.

10Two Milwaukee men, 44 and 48 driving a stolen car, were stopped in the 7900 block of North 60th Street Aug. 8. They were turned over to Milwaukee PD.

11Two forced entries were reported at Family Dollar, 6554 W. Brown Deer Road, one early morning Aug. 9 and one at 11:54 p.m. Aug. 10. The first entry reported a window was broken but nothing taken. In the second entry the front door was smashed and candy, Gatorade and chips taken.

12Cars were entered but nothing taken in the 8100 block of North 65th Street about 4 a.m. Aug. 10.

13A wallet and two shirts were taken from an unlocked car in the 8000 block of North 65th Street Aug. 9 or 10.

14An Apple iPad and a briefcase were taken from a car in the 8000 block of North 66th Street the morning of Aug. 10. The briefcase was recovered in a dumpster in the same block.

15Two watches valued at $110 were reported taken from a home in the 8300 block of North Teutonia Avenue on Aug. 10. Workmen had been in the home.

16A 63-year-old Brown Deer man was cited for disorderly conduct/domestic violence related after hitting his daughter and her son at 10:20 p.m. Aug. 10. The man was “upset,” according to a police report.

17A 33-year-old Brown Deer woman was cited for OWI in the 6500 block of West Brown Deer Road at 2:19 a.m. Aug. 11. The woman admitted to drinking and driving.

FOX POINT

18Five cups, three of them sterling silver, valued at more than $550, were taken from the 700 block of East Juniper Lane sometime June and July and reported Aug. 3. The resident said a “helper” was in the home helping her pack when the theft occurred. The case is being investigated.

19A resident reported that someone used his ID, including social security number, attempting to open credit card accounts, one with Wells Fargo and one with US Bank, Aug. 9. The man, who said he had been “a victim of IRS fraud earlier this year,” notified both companies that these were frauds.

GLENDALE 

20A 55-year-old Cudahy man was cited for shoplifting groceries and liquor valued at $146 from Trader Joe’s, 5600 N. Port Washington Road, at 3 p.m. July 28. He fled the store but was stopped in Bayshore.

21The following Milwaukee people were cited for shoplifting at Kohl’s, 5650 N. Bayshore Drive, Aug. 1 to 5: Two women 30 and 46 took jewelry, candy and nail polish valued at $49; a 42-year-old man, also cited for possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting, obstruction and driving with a revoked license, took three Brewers hats valued at $72. He fled in a car with four children inside but was stopped in Milwaukee; A 55-year-old woman, “shopping” with a 10-year-old boy, handed jewelry, bras and sandals to that boy, who put the items into a bag; A 15-year-old girl took a hat and water bottle; A 66-year-old woman took athletic shoes valued at $145; A 25-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man, who was also cited for possession of 2.3 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, took shirts valued at $55.

22A 30-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for shoplifting after taking two Beats headphones valued at $802 at Apple Store, 5715 N. Centerpark Way, at 5:25 p.m. Aug. 3.

23A 47-year-old Milwaukee man and a 53-year-old Whitefish Bay man were cited for disorderly conduct after they exited their cars during a road rage incident in the 200 block of West Silver Spring Drive at 5:40 pm. Aug. 3.

24A 50-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for OWI, possession of 2.55 grams of marijuana and open intoxicants after he was stopped for erratic driving in the 400 block of West Silver Spring Drive at 2 a.m. Aug. 4. The man, who said he had “two shots and a beer,” also had an open beer in the car. His BAC was 0.15.

25A light fixture along with the bulb were reported damaged by gun shots in the 5400 block of North Dexter Avenue Aug. 4 or 5.

26A 17-year-old Glendale boy was cited for OWI and possession of marijuana in the 1900 block of West Brantwood Avenue at 1:25 a.m. Aug. 5. The boy was in possession of granola bars made with marijuana. His BAC was 0.155.

27A 22-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for possession of 3.8 grams of marijuana and 4.83 grams of heroin both with intent to deliver, resisting/obstruction and bail jumping at Motel 6, 5485 N. Port Washington Road, at 12:15 p.m. Aug. 5. The man, who had more than $1,500 in cash, fled as police arrived but was stopped. A loaded 9 mm pistol and a scale were found in his room.

28A GPS unit valued at $125 was taken from a locked car in the 300 block of West Silver Spring Drive the afternoon of Aug. 7. Damage to a window was $200.

29A 47-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for battery after he forced his way into a home and attacked a resident in the 7000 block of North Seneca Avenue at 9:30 p.m. Aug. 7. The man, described as a contractor known to the resident, told police he went to the home to retrieve his tools.

30About $600 cash was taken from a home in the 800 block of West Theresa Lane before 11 p.m. Aug. 7. The resident came home to find a door “cracked open” and a vase broken.

31A 26-year-old Appleton man was cited for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, a felon in possession of a firearm, a warrant, resisting/obstruction and bail jumping at Motel 6, 5485 N. Port Washington Road, at 2 a.m. Aug. 8. When police arrived, the man threw up and then attempted to flee. He had a loaded Smith & Wesson handgun, 10.34 grams of marijuana, rolling papers and a vacuum sealer.

32A 30-year-old Glendale woman was cited for criminal damage to property and battery after throwing bricks at cars and then attacking two bicyclists, knocking one off her bike causing injury to a leg, near the 5400 block of North Port Washington Road between 11:20 a.m. and 12:20 p.m. Aug. 8. The woman was taken into protective custody.

33Two 18-year-old women of New Berlin and Pewaukee were cited for shoplifting and possession of fake IDs at Boston Store, 5701 N. Lydell Ave., at 5 p.m. Aug. 9. The women took clothing valued at $368 and were in possession of five fake IDs.

34Two men, one implying he had a weapon, filled bags with men’s fragrances valued at more than $3,000 and fled Ulta, 5654 N. Bayshore Drive, at 8:40 p.m. Aug. 9. When an employee attempted to stop the men, one yelled, “Don’t touch me. I will hurt you.”

SHOREWOOD

35An $800 laptop computer was taken from an unlocked car in a driveway in the 3900 block of North Ridgefield Circle on Aug. 3 or 4.

36The following Milwaukee people were cited for shoplifting and other incidents at Metro Market, 4075 N. Oakland Ave., on Aug. 4 or 5: A 49-year-old woman took beauty items valued at $76 and was also cited for possession of drug paraphernalia, a crack pipe, and trespassing because of being previously banned; A 20-year-old woman took a $21 bottle of Cap’n Morgan’s rum; A 31-year-old man took $55 of steaks.

37A 28-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for prowling and two warrants after a resident reported him trespassing in a yard in the 3800 block of North Cramer Street at 11:30 p.m. Aug. 4.

38A 27-year-old Milwaukee man, an employee at the market, was cited Aug. 6 for theft and a warrant after taking $400 from a business at Metro Market, 4075 N. Oakland Ave., on Aug. 3.

39A Bose speaker was found “dumped” in the 3900 block of North Frederick Avenue about 4:30 p.m. Aug. 10. The speaker was reported taken during a burglary, location not available.

40An iPhone valued at $300 was reported taken when left by accident at Atwater Park, 4000 N. Lake Drive, on Aug. 9 and reported Aug. 10.

WHITEFISH BAY

41The letters “TOA” were found sprayed painted/written on electrical boxes, dumpsters, a stop sign and the sides of buildings in the following blocks Aug. 8, 9 and 12: 300 East Silver Spring Drive and East Hampton Road, 5200 North Santa Monica Boulevard and 800 East Lancaster, 1200 East Fairmount and 5500 North Hollywood avenues.

42Two Brown Deer men and a Milwaukee man, all 18, were cited for violation of park hours at Big Bay Park, 5000 N. Palisades Road, at 3 a.m. Aug. 8. They smelled of marijuana and although none was found they were warned regarding possession of the drug.

43A 67-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for OWI after he was seen driving on the rim of a tire in the 5600 block of North Lake Drive at 10 p.m. Aug. 8. The man, who had been in a Milwaukee accident about an hour before, had a BAC of 0.14.

44A 42-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for his fourth OWI and refusal to take a breath test after a welfare check of a man sleeping in a running car in the 100 block of West Montclaire Avenue at 4:20 p.m. Aug. 9.  He refused field sobriety tests and after a warrant was issued, taken for a blood draw.

45A 38-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for OWI, open intoxicants and driving the wrong way on a divided highway after he drove west in eastbound lanes in the 1100 block of East Lexington Boulevard at 9:21 p.m. Aug. 11. He had a cup of beer in the car.

46A 20-year-old Whitefish Bay man was cited for violation of absolute sobriety and unreasonable and impudent speed going more than 50 mph in a 25 mph zone in the 5800 block of North Shore Drive at 2:34 a.m. Aug. 12.
