1Two shoplifting events were reported at Bath and Body Works, 9096 N. Green Bay Road: A 31-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited after taking health and beauty items valued at $212 at 2:42 p.m. July 27. Another woman took items valued at about $500 and fled in a Chevy Impala July 29.
2Various Nintendo games valued at $1,200 were taken from a car in the 9200 block of North Green Bay Road July 20 and reported July 28.
3Two bicycles were taken from Brown Deer Library, 5600 West Bradley Road, on July 28.
4A 50-year-old Brown Deer man was cited for disorderly conduct after he “confronted” an employee at Walgreens, 6020 W. Brown Deer Road, the morning of July 29. He left the store but was located and cited.
5A 57-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for OWI-drugs and possession of a controlled substance, Oxycodone, in the 4700 block of West Bradley Road at 8:52 p.m. July 28. A drug recognition expert was at the scene and the man taken for a blood draw.
6A 2011 Chevy Cruze was taken from a driveway in the 5700 block of West Range Avenue July 29 or 30.
7An officer rescued five baby raccoons that fell into a storm sewer at Alpine Lane and Fairy Chasm Road at 6:25 a.m. July 30.
8A 14-year-old Milwaukee boy was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia, obstruction for giving a false name, curfew violation and a warrant after he was stopped for riding a bike without lights in the 7800 block of North Sherman Boulevard at 12:50 a.m. July 31.
9The following Milwaukee people were cited, four for shoplifting and two for disorderly conduct at Walmart, 6300 W. Brown Deer Road: A 26-year-old woman took clothing, value not available, July 31; Two women, 21 and 25 who knew each other, were cited for disorderly conduct after fighting in the meat department July 31; A 42-year-old man took $10 of craft beads Aug 2; A 33-year-old woman was cited for battery after slapping her sister in the face several times Aug. 4.
10Two cars were entered but nothing reported taken in the 3300 and 3500 blocks of West Pelican Lane sometime July 31 to Aug. 3.
11A 23-year-old Brown Deer man who was reported unconscious in a bathroom because of a possible heroin overdose was revived by North Shore Fire in the 9000 block of North Maura Lane at 3:40 p.m. Aug. 3. After he was medically cleared, the man was cited for possession of heroin.
12Two 18-year-old men and a 22-year-old woman of Milwaukee were cited for shoplifting after taking over $180 worth of items at CVS Pharmacy, 8661 N. Port Washington Road, about 4 p.m. July 20. They were seen on video putting the items, including two Bluetooth headsets, lighters, candy, gum and cans of Red Bull, into their pockets and a backpack. When stopped in the parking lot, they cooperated with police, turning over the stolen items.
13Various items valued at more than $2,000, including a Weed Wacker, Hitachi circular saw, snow blower and tools, were taken from a garage in the 8300 block of North Regent Road sometime July 20 to July 22 and reported July 24. There was a worker at the home during that time.
14An unlocked Toyota Rav 4 valued at $7,400 along with items inside valued at more than $1,000, including a Samsung Galaxy camera, a riding helmet and riding boots, was taken from the 7400 block of North Seneca Road overnight July 31 or Aug. 1 The car was recovered in the 2400 block of North Lefeber Avenue Aug. 7.
15A checkbook and change purse along with about $10 in quarters was taken from an unlocked car in the 300 block of West Dunwood Road overnight July 31 and Aug. 1. All the items except the quarters and change purse were found scattered at West Dunwood and North Mohawk roads about 8:30 a.m.
XA resident reported fraudulent charges on her Boston Store credit card, that she still had in her possession, July 27 and July 28 and reported Aug. 5. One charge of more than $500 was at a Bon Ton with the items sent to a Park Forest, Illinois, address and two purchases for more than $1,400 at Boston Store in Mayfair.
16A 21-year-old Bayside man was cited for theft of more than $220 from his employer Toppers Pizza, 383 W. Brown Deer Road, on Aug. 1. Management reported that the man failed to ring up orders that had been paid for; instead, he classified them as “bad orders,” meaning people cancelled or didn’t show up. Those people were called and many said they had paid. The man denied the allegations.
17Two unlocked cars parked in an open attached garage were rummaged through but nothing taken in the 7400 block of North Seneca Road overnight July 31 or Aug. 1.
18The following Milwaukee people were cited for shoplifting at Kohl’s, 5650 N. Bayshore Drive: A 31-year-old woman took items valued at $76, including flip flops and shorts, and when stopped said she was sorry July 16; A 28-year-old woman took $431 of men’s and women’s clothing into a fitting room, where she stayed for 30 minutes and then exited the store with the clothing and $280 of electronics July 25; A 23-year-old woman took a $15 pink key chain and, when stopped, said she forgot she was holding it July 31.
19A 39-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for his third OWI, driving with a revoked license and speeding 60 mph in a 35 mph zone in the 4000 block of North Green Bay Avenue at 2:12 a.m. July 29. The man, who said he had three shots and two beers, had a BAC of 0.14.
20A wallet with more than $1,800, along with credit cards, was reported taken from a room at Motel 6, 5685 N. Port Washington Road, at 6 p.m. July 29.
21Two Schwinn bicycles valued at $500 were taken from an unlocked garage in the 5600 block of North Braeburn Lane July 29 or 30.
22A 40-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for disorderly conduct and a probation violation after threatening employees and customers at McDonald’s, 5344 N. Port Washington Road, at 3 p.m. July 30. The man, who was intoxicated, was unarmed.
23A 34-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for OWI, possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, violation of his parole and speeding 52 mph in a 40 mph zone in the 3000 block of West Good Hope Road at 3:51 a.m. July 30. The man, who was found with 14 baggies holding 14 grams of marijuana, admitted having two drinks and a beer. His BAC was 0.12.
24A 60-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for shoplifting at Pick ‘n Save, 1735 W. Silver Spring Drive, at 6:15 p.m. July 30. The woman, who was riding in a motorized cart, put items valued at $68 in that cart and rode past the checkout lanes and out of the store before being stopped.
25A 45-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for possession of cocaine, carrying a concealed weapon, a knife, obstruction for giving a false name and warrants after she was reported looking into windows in the 4700 block of North Port Washington Road at 1:50 a.m. Aug. 1. The woman, who had 0.16 grams of rock cocaine, said she felt dizzy and was given medical assistance.
26A 27-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for his second OWI and warned for unsafe lane deviation after he was stopped for weaving in traffic in the 3400 block of West Brown Deer Road at 3:39 a.m. Aug. 6. The man, who said he had “two beers,” failed field sobriety tests and had a BAC of 0.15.
27A leaf blower and trimmer valued at $275 were taken from the 3900 block of North Harcourt Place between 11:30 a.m. and 12:25 p.m. July 27.
28A laundry cash machine was taken from a basement in the 4400 block of North Oakland Avenue July 27 or 28.
29A 22-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for being intoxicated/unable to care for himself after he was found incoherent wearing only boxer shorts in the 3600 block of North Oakland Avenue at 11:41 p.m. July 29.
30A 21-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for disorderly conduct after he threw a can of soda through a car window at East Capitol Drive and North Oakland Avenue at 3:53 p.m. July 30.
31A 20-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for possession of marijuana after he and three other people were warned regarding park hours at Hubbard Park, 3565 N. Morris Blvd., at 12:22 a.m. July 31.
32Two unlocked bikes valued at $200 were taken from a back yard in the 4300 block of North Sheffield Avenue sometime July 29 to 31 and reported Aug. 1.
33Construction tools valued at $1,800 were taken from an unlocked truck in the 4100 block of North Oakland Avenue the morning of Aug. 2.
34A 24-year-old Fox Point man was cited for OWI in the 5100 block of North Cumberland Boulevard at 1 a.m. Aug. 1. His BAC was 0.30.
35A Specialized mountain bike valued at $1,200 was taken from Big Bay Park, 5000 N. Palisades Road, before 4:20 p.m. Aug. 1.
36A 30-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for his third OWI, fleeing from police after he was stopped for speeding 75 mph in a 25 mph zone in the 700 block of East Hampton Road at 2:17 a.m. Aug. 2. Stop sticks were used to stop the car. The man was taken to a hospital for medical assistance and a blood draw. His BAC was 0.10.
37A 59-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for violation of driving with a BAC above 0.02, for previous citations for OWI after a minor accident in the 500 block of East Silver Spring Drive at 5:08 p.m. Aug. 2. His BAC was 0.04.
38A 21-year-old West Allis woman was cited for OWI and a warrant after she was stopped for speeding in the 1200 block of East Henry Clay Street at 3:36 a.m. Aug. 3. Her BAC was 0.07.
39A resident reported her BMO debit card had been illegally used at stores in West Allis, Brookfield, South Holland, Illinois, and Indianapolis on Aug. 3.
40An underage female, no other information available, was mailed a citation for underage drinking after her boyfriend called 911 to report she had taken prescription pills with alcohol in the 100 block of East Chateau Place at 1:18 a.m. Aug. 4. She was taken to a hospital.
41A 19-year-old Wauwatosa man was cited for violation of absolute sobriety, possession of 0.5 grams of marijuana, possession of a drug pipe and a fake ID and an 18-year-old Milwaukee woman also for having a fake ID and underage drinking in the 1700 block of East Cumberland Boulevard at 2:22 a.m. Aug. 6. As he was being released, the man began to yell and scream and was taken into protective custody. His BAC was 0.10.
42A 21-year-old Glendale man was cited for OWI and possession of marijuana after his car was stopped in the 5300 block of North Santa Monica Boulevard at 3:48 a.m. Aug. 7. His BAC was 0.10.
