WHITEFISH BAY - After being ranked the top high school in Wisconsin by U.S. News and World Report last year, Whitefish Bay High School dropped to second place in the magazine's 2017 rankings, which were released on Tuesday, April 25.
Whitefish Bay, which was ranked 347th among other top high schools in the nation, was ousted from the top of the Wisconsin school rankings by Carmen High School of Science and Technology in Milwaukee.
Nicolet High School was ranked 15th in the state and 700th in the national rankings this year. Nicolet ranked 14th in the state in 2016 and 11th in 2015.
Shorewood High School was ranked 17th in the state and 833rd in the nation. Shorewood was ranked 28th in 2016 and seventh in 2015.
