A resident reported a fraud after his private information, including Social Security number, were used in an attempt to obtain a credit card Aug. 24. No card was issued.

BROWN DEER

1Two TVs, a Kindle and tubes of toothpaste, valued at $778, were taken from the 8200 block of North Ivy Street during the day Aug. 17. The back door was forced open.

2A 44-year-old Germantown man was cited for his third OWI in the 8700 block of North 60th Street on Aug. 18. He was taken for a blood draw.

3The front door was found damaged but entry not gained at Celebrations, 4740 W. Bradley Road, at 2:20 p.m. Aug. 20. Damage was $200.

4A 29-year-old Phelps man was cited for OWI-drugs after he was found “slumped over in his car and very disorientated” in the 6300 block of West Brown Deer Road at 4:39 p.m. Aug. 20. The man had methamphetamine in a cigarette pack.

5Two unlocked cars were entered and rummaged through but nothing taken in the 6500 block of West Pierner Place, one Aug. 18 and one  Aug. 21.

6Two cars were “keyed,” causing $2,000 damage, in the 7700 block of North Sherman Boulevard on Aug. 22 or 23.

7Two TVs and jewelry, value not available, were taken from the 6100 block of West Darnel Avenue sometime before noon Aug. 23. A back door was forced open to gain entry.

8Police responded to an alarm and found the front window broken at Family Dollar, 6554 W. Brown Deer Road, at 12:51 a.m. Aug. 24. Entry had been gained and items taken, including food, toilet paper and flip flops, value not yet available. Damage to the window was $500.

9A back door was damaged and a window broken but entry not gained in the 6200 block of West Arch Avenue during the day Aug. 24. A neighbor reported hearing banging noises and seeing a white car in the driveway about 1 p.m.

10Two shoplifting events were reported at Burlington, 9040 N. Green Bay Road: “Multiple” baby items taken with suspects fleeing in a silver Buick at 4:45 p.m. Aug. 23; Clothing and jewelry taken with suspects fleeing in a gold Dodge Journey about 3:45 p.m. Aug. 24.

11A 1973 Buick Coupe with a collector plate valued at $15,000 was reported taken from an unlocked garage in the 8200 block of North 60th Street at 8 a.m. Aug. 24.

12A 42-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for OWI and refusal to take a breath test when he was found passed out behind the wheel of his running car in the 5600 block of North Milwaukee River Parkway at 2:30 a.m. Aug. 13. The man, who had his head on the steering wheel and his foot on the brake, said he had a couple of drinks. Later he had a breath test, which registered 0.159.

13A 20-year-old Glendale man was cited for theft of about $200 from his employer, BP Gas, 7010 N. Port Washington Road, on Aug. 15.

14More than 50 cartons of cigarettes and another 20 packs with a value of more than $2,600 and about $300 cash were taken during a burglary at Mobil Gas, 7156 N. Green Bay Road, about 3:40 a.m. Aug. 16. Police responded to “entry in progress” and found forced entry but no one on the scene. Damage was more than $250.

15Two welding torches and a spool of copper valued at $800 were reported taken from a construction trailer behind the 6100 block of North Flint Road at 7:30 a.m. Aug. 16.

16A 17-year-old Milwaukee girl was cited for possession of marijuana and possession of crack cocaine with intent to deliver and a 34-year-old Milwaukee man for statutory rape at Motel 6, 5485 N. Port Washington Road, at 3 a.m. Aug. 18. Police responded to a report of a strong odor of marijuana coming from the room the girl rented. She had 21 individually wrapped packages of crack cocaine along with marijuana in her purse.

17A 31-year-old Sussex man and a 21-year-old South Milwaukee woman were cited for possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia after the woman was seen “shooting up” as she sat in a car while the man was going through a dumpster in the 2100 block of West Silver Spring Drive at 12:42 p.m. Aug. 18.

18A laptop computer and case valued at $820 were taken from an unlocked car parked in a driveway in the 2300 block of West Daphne Road on Aug. 17 or 18.

19A $50 wallet and contents, including $10 and credit cards, was taken from a locked car in the 5600 block of North Bayshore Drive between 5:30 and 11:40 p.m. Aug. 18. A window was broken causing $200 damage.

20A 23-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for manufacturing/delivery of cocaine, bail jumping, driving a stolen car, resisting/obstruction and bail jumping and a 20-year-old Milwaukee man for resisting/ battery to a police officer after police found their car that was reported stolen out of Milwaukee with the drugs inside in the 5400 block of North Port Washington Road at 9:48 a.m. Aug. 19.

21A Yeasu FT-6R radio valued at $186 was taken from a resident’s room at Golden Living Center, 1616 W. Bender Road, about 10:45 a.m. Aug. 21. The theft happened after the resident had left her room for a short time.

22Items valued at more than $65, including an older iPod, a charger and some change, were taken from an unlocked car in the 2800 block of West Mill Road between 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Aug. 21.

23An iPhone 6S valued at $400 was taken from an employee at Akira, 5675 N. Centerpark Way, before 5:15 p.m. Aug. 21.

24A 25-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for possession of marijuana and possession of 8.52 grams of crack cocaine after the cocaine was found in a running car at Motel 6, 5485 N. Port Washington Road, at 11 p.m. Aug. 21. The man was found at the motel along with 1.1 grams of marijuana.

25A 36-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for OWI, refusal to take a breath test and a probation violation after he was found sleeping in his running car in the 2200 block of West Silver Spring Drive at 1:28 p.m. Aug. 22. As police arrived, the man attempted to drive away but was stopped.

26A 31-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for possession of narcotic drugs and a warrant after he was seen driving a car with plates not registered to that car in the 7000 block of North Port Washington Road at 1:05 a.m. Aug. 23. The man was in possession of 13 pieces of Oxycodone Hydrochloride.

27A tire and wheel valued at $800 were taken from a 2016 Lexus SUV at Lexus North Shore, 1433 W. Silver Spring Drive, on Aug. 22 or 23.

SHOREWOOD         

28A 19-year-old Milwaukee man was taken into custody on charges of aggravated battery, false imprisonment, robbery and driving a stolen car after a “home break-in” in the 4400 block of North Oakland Avenue at 5:15 a.m. Aug. 15. The man, known to the victim, broke into the home, tied up the resident and robbed him.

29A girl’s Trek bicycle valued at $250 was taken from an unlocked detached garage in the 3500 block of North Cramer Street sometime July 29 to Aug. 16.

30A woman’s $1,800 Giant road bike and a $1,000 Gary Fisher hybrid, both unlocked, were taken from an underground garage in the 3700 block of North Oakland Avenue sometime between Aug. 18 and 21.

31Two Italian concrete planters were knocked over and “destroyed,” causing $4,600 damage in the 3600 block of North Oakland Avenue sometime Aug. 19 to 21.

32An 18-year-old Shorewood woman was cited for possession of marijuana after the car she was in was stopped for speeding in the 3700 block of North Oakland Avenue at 2:25 a.m. Aug. 20.

33A resident reported finding a male rummaging through her unlocked car in the 4300 block of North Wilson Drive at 11:52 a.m. Aug. 20. He fled in a dark SUV. Nothing was taken.

34Two bicycles valued at $200 each were taken from the 4300 block of North Marlborough Drive and one $50 bike from the 4100 block of North Ardmore Avenue Aug. 20 to the 22.

35A 17-year-old Milwaukee boy was cited for shoplifting at Walgreens, 4035 N. Oakland Ave., at 11:22 p.m. Aug. 20. The boy, carrying a basket of stolen items, was stopped as he walked past an officer.

36Several juveniles were seen breaking a car window and then fleeing in what was identified as a stolen car at North Prospect Avenue and East Capitol Drive at 1 a.m. Aug. 21.

37A 2004 Honda Pilot, parked on the street, was taken from the 2400 block of East Stratford Court before 10:20 a.m. Aug. 21.

38An unlocked car was entered but nothing taken in the 2400 block of East Menlo Boulevard on Aug. 21 or 22.

39An attempted entry to a car was reported in the 3900 block of North Maryland Avenue on Aug. 22. The driver’s door lock was damaged

WHITEFISH BAY

40Police helped two intoxicated Whitefish men who were trying to get home: One was found passed out in a front yard in the 5100 block of North Lake Drive at 4:14 a.m. Aug. 20. Uber took him home; The other was taken home after found crawling on his hands and knees in the 100 block of East Chateau Place at 11:46 p.m. Aug. 26.

41The top of a yard lamp attached to a fence was broken off, causing $75 damage in the 100 block of East Birch Avenue on Aug. 20 or 21.

A resident reported receiving text messages from a male Aug. 21 who stated he wanted to return an iPhone lost or stolen in Milwaukee in July. That male was informed by text to return the phone to WFB police.

42A resident reported a male in his backyard attempted to take a lawn mower in the 4900 block of North Lake Drive about noon Aug. 23. When confronted, the male left the yard and drove off in a white car.

43A 41-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for disorderly conduct after a witness reported him touching himself indecently on the beach at Big Bay Park, 5000 N. Palisades Road, at 3:50 p.m. Aug. 23.

44Two cars were entered and about $50 taken in the 6000 block of North Kent Avenue between 3:15 and 4:15 p.m. Aug. 23.

45Two cars were entered and about $3 taken from one and $30 from the other along with keys and cologne while parked in the library lot, 5420 N. Marlborough Drive, during the day Aug. 23 and reported Aug. 24.

46A 16-year-old boy and a 17-year-old girl of Brookfield were cited for violation of park hours after they were seen carving initials and hearts into the railing at Klode Park, 5900 N. Lake Drive, at 9:15 p.m. Aug. 26.

47A 31-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for OWI after he was seen weaving in traffic in the 4700 block of North Lake Drive at 2:54 a.m. Aug. 28. His BAC was 0.13.
