Superior Donuts
CBS, 9 ET/PT

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson seriously considered a move to UFC before his acting career took off.

If you’ve been wondering when Arthur (Judd Hirsch) will start dating again on this just-renewed sitcom, the answer is now. Maybe. If nothing else, he’s going to be encouraged to date by Franco (Jermaine Fowler), who wants him to go out with Randy’s mom. Considering that mom is being played by an Emmy-winning and Oscar-nominated star, Brenda Vaccaro, odds are his answer really should be “yes.”

The Great Indoors
CBS, 9:30 ET/PT

Guests abound Monday. In addition to Vaccaro on Superior Donuts and the return of Lynda Carter on Supergirl (CW, 8 ET/PT), you also get Chris D’Elia here as Jack’s nemesis Aaron Wolf — a former co-worker turned famous reality-show host. Jack is surprised when Aaron shows up as a guest editor for the magazine, just as you may be surprised to see this sitcom show up on a Monday night. For now, it’s just a one-off visit: Indoors will be back in its regular slot come Thursday.

Rock and a Hard Place
HBO, 10 ET/PT

Ballers star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson returns to HBO with a very different project, a documentary about a boot camp for incarcerated young people near Miami. . Johnson, who appears in the film and serves as an executive producer, was inspired by his own run-ins with the law as a kid.
