Marion Cotillard is having no part of the Angelina Jolie-Brad Pitt divorce media storm.

The French actress spoke out on her confirmed Instagram account in a lengthy message Wednesday, distancing herself from the seismic news that after 12 years as a couple, Jolie is divorcing Pitt.

Cotillard, who stars with Pitt in the upcoming World War II spy drama Allied (in theaters Nov. 23), indicated she has been unfairly "swept up" in the melee of rumors about the cause of their divorce, and called her partner since 2007, French actor/director Guillaume Canet, "my love, my best friend, the only one that I need."

Cotillard also confirmed she is pregnant with their second child. Cotillard and Canet are parents to son Marcel, 5. She said she wished Pitt and Jolie "peace."

"This is going to be my first and only reaction to the whirlwind news that broke 24 hours ago and that I was swept up into," wrote Cotillard. "I am not used to commenting on things like this nor taking them seriously but as this situation is spiraling and affecting people I love, I have to speak up. "

She continued: "Firstly, many years ago, I met the man of my life, father of our son and of the baby we are expecting. He is my love, my best friend, the only one that I need. Secondly to those who have indicated that I am devastated, I am very well thank you. This crafted conversation isn't distressing. And to all the media and the haters who are quick to pass judgment, I sincerely wish you a swift recovery."

Brangelina split, Day 2: What we know now

Cotillard ended her message on a graceful note. "Finally, I do very much wish that Angelina and Brad, both whom I deeply respect, will find peace in this very tumultuous moment. With all my love, Marion."

Theories on why Pitt and Jolie split have been mounting since the divorce news hit, with speculation on purported differing parenting styles, possible substance abuse and anger issues, or, as Cotillard obliquely refers to and shuts down, an affair with a co-star.
