While the casting for Guy Ritchie's live-action Aladdin has some wishing for a magic lamp, the casting of Genie sits well with Jada Pinkett Smith.

Some Twitter users said they wished the parts of Aladdin and Princess Jasmine had gone to Arab actors in place of the Egypt-born Mena Massoud and Naomi Scott, who is of Indian and British descent.

But Pinkett Smith is feeling good about the upcoming Disney remake.

As a guest on The Tonight Show Tuesday, Pinkett Smith confirmed her husband, Will Smith, is slated to play Genie, the magical character voiced by Robin Williams in the 1992 animated feature.

"He's playing the genie!" she exclaimed to Jimmy Fallon. "And you know what I had to tell him? I said, 'You know what? This is perfect for you 'cause you always creating magic.' I had to tell him that."

Speaking of magic, the Girls Trip star also told the late night host about an amazing time she had aboard a swamp tour with her co-star, Tiffany Haddish. Watch the clip below to see Pinkett Smith compliment her hubby and sweetly confess she didn't understand Groupon.
