Composer Justin Hurwitz won an EE British Academy Film Award Sunday for his original music for "La La Land," adding to the Nicolet High School grad's awards-season haul.

Hurwitz's win was one of five for the musical at the BAFTAs, the British Oscars. The movie also won best picture, best director for Damien Chazelle, best cinematography and best actress for Emma Stone.

"La La Land" is also considered a front-runner at this year's Academy Awards, where the movie is up for 14 Oscars. Hurwitz has three nominations: best original score and two shared nominations for best song.

Hurwitz also collected two of the movie's seven Golden Globe Awards last month.
